I love all of the cakes here! Very light & delicate, playful & clever combination of flavours. My personal fave is the “Hamburger” cake black tea & chocolate mousse with surprising crunchy chocolate disc inside The dumpling shaped cake is actually yoghurt mousse with mango & black sticky rice, simply lovely! Gonna get my cake for a special occasion here someday :
All the cakes and sweets were very pretty and Instagram worthy. However, this cafe caters to a niche market of mainly Chinese or tawainese patrons who prefer their cakes much less sweet almost zero sweetness than what western customers are used to eating. That being said, the durian crepe cake was a huge disappointment...with such a pungent and strong smelling fruit I was not happy to find the cake very bland. Everything else was nice and light but weaker on flavour. The only strongly flavoured dishes was the ice cream VERY strong matcha which won't suit everybody but I loved it and the strawberry dessert. The shop it self looks very cute and the display cakes very impressive. All in all I would probably only go here again with friends who don't have a sweet tooth.
Beautiful unique cakes and delicious matcha ice cream. They have a tofu cheesecake which is actually made from tofu. It was a really unique taste, unlike anything I'd tasted before so it was a little weird at first but the taste kept popping up in my head and made me go back for more. They also have a matcha affogato but I'm undecided if I like it or not. The owners really try to put a unique twist to their cakes so it's definitely worth a visit. However the prices are a bit on the pricey side and the staff need more customer service training but the cakes are definitely worth the visit.
I found this cafe through Instagram and it didn’t disappoint in taste! Although very expensive per cake, my wife and I loved their fun take on desserts, especially the green tea cakes. Parking is expensive in the complex so take public transport or get free road parking. They lost a star for the price and taste. I feel, there are much better and cheaper dessert bars out there like Koi or Saga Enmore.
Was a cute little shop with nice a decent space inside, with bright lighting. Open till late as well, we went at 9pm and was able to get what we want. The staff was friendly and nice as well. Though the price was slightly disappointing as it was around 10 buck for the cake in the picture and 15 bucks for the matcha sundae. The sundae had a really aesthetically pleasing set out when served but the amount was a little less than what we expected for a 15 dollar dessert. Overall though, we enjoyed our time.
The in-store decoration is very cute and sweat! Like the style of it. The cakes are a bit pricy and but some are not worth it. Peach cake looks elegant but taste like water, the texture of tofu cheesecake is not good. Chestnut cake maybe the best among the three, but is also not impressive. The choc crepe cake is great! Not too sweat. The lavender cake is sour outside which taste terrific, however, it has the flavour of lavender inside which smells soooo weird!!!
Once I walked into the shop, my attention was immediately captured by the baby chick shaped Mango Coconut Sago Dessert. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was quickly dampened by the price tag. Not wishing to discount the skill and ingredients required to make such desserts, nevertheless, it just felt... disproportionate. The $9.50 Mango Coconut Sago was a delicate little thing. Mango being the more prominent flavour, it was just the right sweetness for me and I personally loved the texture which was like a jellied mousse. The durian mille crepe was delicious, the durian was rich and creamy so if you're a fan of the 'King of Fruits' I would definitely recommend sharing one with a friend due to its $12.80 price tag. Overall, it's a convenient location to catch up with your friends over a pot of tea and light desserts.
Had the durian crepe cake which was pretty good. It had a strong durian aroma. The milk tea with black sugar pearls were good too. A bit too sweet and the pearls were harder than they were chewy but not bad.
Poor customer service. The waitress clearly does not want to be working and seems to hate her job. Also has an attitude problem, whatever is happening on her phone seems to be more important than serving the only customers in the cafe. It would be good to get more barista training so that the flat whites aren’t as weak and are mixed better. The cakes are interesting and it’s great that the cafe is completely empty, but doesn’t quite make up for rudeness.
A great range of sweets and drinks. Everything we had was exceptional, the galaxy 70% mousse was the standout. Great service too, will be back to try more.
