Beautiful little hidden secret.

When Murray welcomed us to Duck Away Cottage and showed us two cold beers waiting in the fridge after our long, long journey from the other side of the world we knew we were going to love it. (We stayed for ten days at the end of Janaury 2013). The cottage is simple but has everything you need including buket loads of tranquility and a lovley view of the rolling hills and sea in the distance. In the morning you wake to fabulous bird song and at night the view of the Milky Way is stunning. There are wonderful beaches nearby and the diving around the Poor Knights Islands is fabulous, as is the service at nearby Dive Tutukaka who will take you there. We loved Duck Away so much that we changed the end of our holiday so that we could spend our last few days in New Zealand there. We hope to come back one day!
