I can’t recommend Dr Simon Elix highly enough. I had a double knee replacement in 2015, perfect operation, perfect Doctor, by far the best surgeon In his field. I’ve had many friends and family have had this surgery, and did not have the wonderful outcome I did. Five stars all the way. Great team around him as well.
As a GPs wife I had a hubby that wanted me to see the very best - well I got that when he selected Dr Elix for my intense knee pain. He is absolutely incredible. Informative and caring and has a really thorough approach. Surgery went well and I am thrilled with my choice of surgeon. Highly recommend. PS the front reception staff are also lovely and very helpful.
He did a double knee replacement on my mum and his bed side manner is outstanding along with his skills and supporting staff. If I could give him ten stars I would. My mum Lorraine hasn’t looked back. Thank you Dr Elix and Dr Stephanie for taking such wonderful care of her. An outstanding surgeon
Had a Hip replacement six months ago. Dr Elix and his team did a perfect job. Never had any pain and Hip is good as new. Well done and five Stars from me.
The Bay is so blessed to have very special medical practioners and Specialists but this guy is truly something very special indeed, an outstanding human being with a caring soul and a talent in the operating theatre that restores peoples health and well-being. He is dynamic, his methods cutting edge, results are second-to-none. I had a LH total replacement several years ago and I guess my expectations for my RH total replacement were basically based on that experience...... heck, couldn't be further from the truth. In and out of hospital in 5 days, on 1 crutch at 2 weeks and off crutches and walking in 4 weeks, minimal discomfort, much smaller incision, no staples, all internal stitches. I attended pre and post rehabilitation which also greatly enhanced the great outcome. Honestly, I know their are other very professional surgeons in the Bay but Dr Elix is the guy I will be going to see again shortly to get my other knee done too. I truly respect this person, have great faith in his ability and trust him without reservation
Simon Elix did a hip replacement for me 18 months a go, a great bloke who did a fantastic job, no problems with new hip, walking 10 to 15k's a day 73yrs old working around the house and helping neighbors, before that was in dreadful pain, would I recommend him " YOU BET "
