Lovely relaxed establishment. Really liked the Cafe Restaurant with its booths etc. Comfortable beds & nicely appointed bathroom. We requested a quiet room & relinquished our view. We got what we asked for, a beautiful sleep! I'd do that again! Staff happy & well trained. Loved our 2 nights there!Rooms: 4/5
Great stay - lovely hotel! Our daughter loved the fresh warm cookies on arrival. Staff very welcoming. Rooms comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic- lots of options. Convenient location with several tram stops in walking distance & train station across the road! Looking forward to staying again.
The rooms are not large but that can be expected for hotels in the centre of the city. Breakfast spread is good and there is a card to order your eggs which sometimes they forget to give you. The lifts can run a little slow between floors, not sure why. Overall I enjoyed the stay which was sweetened by the associates' friendliness and attention to detail.
Great hotel, no major issues - we were originally placed into an accessible room but i didn't book this and would rather it be available for someone who needs it. The staff were so lovely and were happy to change it for me. I assume it was so busy that rooms weren't ready, but they moved us within 10 mins. Rooms are great, clean, tidy. Bathrooms are also great. The location is perfect, right at the station and close to everything - from shopping, to many many food options, to restaurants down by the river. I would stay here again!
I don't normally like to stay so central in the city but I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience. The team were wonderful and welcoming! The room was compact but very well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom lighting is excellent! My wife would love it for doing her makeup!Rooms: 5/5
The staff at the Double Tree were really polite and couldn't do enough to help during the stay. The rooms were really modern and clean along and security was great at night. Not noisy and easy a great spot to be as you're close to everything. Of special note the room service / bar attendant was just fantastic and really polite. I find some places are very bare on conversation with customers but this one certainly wasn't.
Currently staying here - Room has no window & no natural light, this should be clearly advised upon booking. - Room is affected by Kitchen exhaust somewhere in the vicinity as there is a strong smell of deep fryers. - Asked for a room with a view and was told “sorry we are fully booked” I called the hotel after this to check availability and was told there were rooms available. - Walls must be made of paper as you can hear every door open or close on the floor and everything your neighbour is doing. If staff cannot be honest on simple things like this then I would recommend staying elsewhere. I’ll be sure to reflect this rating on the corporate travel agency website so hopefully no other staff stay here.
Will only chose this hotel for our CBD get away. Staffs are courteous, accommodating and consistent with their service. They truly make you feel like you are special. Breakfast variety could be better but apart from that, the room is spacious, chrome cast available in the room and very clean. Bed and Pillows are so comfortable.Rooms: 5/5
I was expecting a lot more from a Hilton hotel. No complimentary water in the rooms was a let down. The walls are not well insulated and you can hear your neighbors. Toiletries were pretty decent though. Extractor air vent grate in the batch room needs a good clean.
We booked very last minute 1am as we were unhappy another property and arrived at 8am to ask if they could hold onto our bags until the 3pm check-in. The room was already prepared for us, we received welcome cookies and a free room upgrade. Very clean and beautiful room! We are very happy and our holiday has been saved
