First, take the Skywalk, where there are mountains for as far as you can see. Then, take the trail from the picnic area down to the canopy walk. If you go in the afternoon as we did, you might not see very many birds but you can still hear them, and it's a delight to be in such a clean and natural environment. It's a good trail, not difficult hiking at all, and well worth it!

Very pretty place, lovely views and delicious cafe! The little store there has some nice stuff too. Would definitely come back.

Great pies! We had a steak and pepper pie and a goulash pie. Both were delicious. We also had some raspberry quiche for dessert. Yum! The location is quite nice and you can sit outside and enjoy your pie or pastry in the sunshine.

I went to the National Park Rain forest Centre and it was wonderful. The Skywalk is more densely shaded than on my last visit but the views from the lookout at the end are still magnificent. There are a number of walks you can do. The Wonda Walk is good for those who don't have too much time to linger as it's a circular walk. Other walks can take 2-3 hours. On my last visit the rain forest was full of Whip Birds but this time there were none. But there were plenty of Scrub Turkeys and I also got to see a Diamond Python as it slowly climbed into a tree taking no notice of me or other people whatsoever. There is an elevated Bird Walk in the rain forest where many birds can been seen and heard. The Cafe on your return is well worth a stop at to buy something to eat and the gift shop is also well worth a look around with many good quality gifts available to buy. There's also a theatre room showing videos about the rain forest so one can learn how the forest is created naturally. You have to pay to walk on the Skywalk and in the rain forest but as of May 2018 it was very cheap. Only $2 admission fee. I'll definitely be going again but the next time after there's been recent heavy rain and then the waterfalls will be spectacular.

Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend a visit. Suitable for all ages and activity levels. Even suitable for those not interested in nature. Great Cafe and lovely gift shop. Information about the wildlife and plants is easily accessible and easy to understand. Long walk is 6km and takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete.
