A beautiful escape from reality! With little to absolutely no reception and hours between the mountain and next service station. This place is a perfect retreat to nature. The roads are for the most part gravel and can be scary to navigate. But you can camp in several locations, trail blaze and even spot the occasional brumby. There are several lookouts. The occasional pit stops provided.the views are amazing!

What a magical part of the word, beautiful scenery and some great camping grounds. Temperature was 44 degree on the day at the bottom of the mountain by the time we got to the top 1300m above see it had dropped to 27....so on that note if your planning a trip to the top of the mountain take a jacket, a 17 degree change is a big difference in temperature for the body
