Good quick food. I've had a few of there items on the menu. Don Don Box probably best value for money. Only bad thing is the hygiene of the place. Tables weren't clean often and the wipe the box down with a rag before giving you the food, so you grab a wet wooden box. Not the best feeling.
One of my favourite places, very affordable and oh so fast. Highly recommend sukiyaki and trying a DonDon Box if you are hungry. Cheep beer. Been coming here since 2017
This is the leas glamorous no frills outlet compared to the ones in the city. However the quality, tasty and its famous value for money reputation has been maintained. Outside dining is pleasant. Service is so fast and by the time we paid and sat down on our table, it was time to collect our orders! Great to catch up with friends and family without hurting your pocket.
All time fav. Quick meals, but delicious!! Don don box and chicken fry is a must try..
Great food! Staff could use their time to clean the tables after people finish. Due to the lighting inside, you really need to look for a clean table to sit at eat. They have also increased their prices recently Food: 5/5
I love this place. The food is so fresh and tasty. Great value for money. You can't go wrong with any dish, but my favourite is the Japanese chicken curry. Cheap drinks, indoor and outdoor seating. Sometimes the line goes out the door, but they're so quick and efficient it doesn't take long to get your meal. They have little tubs of chilli powder for free if your so inclined, just ask.
Im not sure if they have changed the ownership otherwise I would give 5 stars. The curry sauce tastes a little bland and the pickles are yellow which tastes different to the red. Hopefully it was just a one time shortage on supplies! I will go back as I've been coming here for years. Update They have the red pickles again which tastes better so im glad its back! I ordered the Vegan soba noodles, its a cold dish with lettuce, tomatoes, tofu, zucchini, they give a slice of apple and orange. I think it's my new favourite!

Can’t go wrong with this place, have been coming here for many years having the chicken curry Don and seen a few minor price rises, but it’s still so cheap and so satisfying. Can get busy at lunch times during the week but although the queue looks big, it goes quite quickly. To improve the dishes they could add some more vegetables and the tofu they use is a bit dry for the tofu curry.
This is the best “semi-fast” food restaurant in Melbourne I always order sukiyaki don and curry chicken don take away. It takes me 15sec to 2min for my food No matter how they pre-make the food or anything else, their food quality is awesome and taste good. Especially that their dons are less than $8. It’s a good place for workers and truckers
