I was very impressed with Dr Ash Nath's care, he was attentive and genuinely listened to my concerns. He was compassionate and caring and very professional. I have had major issues with previous doctors not taking my concerns seriously and dismissing my comments but he was amazing and I didn't feel rushed at all. The front desk staff were really lovely too. All round great experience at this doctors.
Had an extremely bad experience with Dr Vickneswaran Sangapillai. Please as a professional just offer the patient the safer medicine by giving the right advice as you knew what I was taking would be extremely harmful for me and yet you made it seem that the therapy itself was a bad thing to do in your condescending tone. But if you had just told me to stick to the original medicine as it was safer and not take the second line therapy I would be fine today as I was so naive when all I wanted to do was avoid a strong stomach ache from the original. I even asked you the if alternative was safer but you never told me or explained the differences between the two. However you knew all along how extremely harmful the alternative second line therapy was. This was confirmed after I spoke with you on the phone recently when you knew that the second line therapy could potentially cause nerve damage and as a GP you failed in your role by not mentioning this to me. As a result of this you have now ruined my life. You also made me do an abdominal CT scan soon after and once again you failed to tell me the risks of this procedure when I recently learned that as a general physician in Australia you are supposed to mention all the risks to the patient first. You have been given a great responsibility to become a GP and we as patients trust what you say so please don't ruin other peoples lives like you have mine.
All the staff is very friendly and welcoming at Brisbane Markets. I can't thank enough Dr. Ashwarya Nath for always being proactive time regarding my early pregnancy. Of ot wasn't for Doctor Nath,my situation may have been a lot worse. He constantly followed up with us and give us clear information when other GP's were not really interested. Highly recommend this place.
Dr Vickneswaran failed to tell me that the drug I had enquired about was 100 times worse than the medicine that was originally prescribed to me . Being a GP he could have just told me to stick the original medicine as it was safer but this wasn't done as this as a result has resulted in a drastic change in my life.
I’m so grateful for this doctors surgery. The GP’s are truly wonderful, and have helped me so much over the last few years. Dr Gong is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and I couldn’t ask for a better GP. She is incredibly understanding, patient and caring.
Such a disappointment. Every time I try to book here, reception calls me back to reschedule 2-3 times. I have to arrange my week, juggling full-time work and being a solo parent, and then get last-minute notice. Weeks waiting to see one doctor. The receptionist asked me what the ailment was, despite this being confidential.
Friendly GPs, they will listen to you and try their best to help you. The reception staff are always very friendly and caring, with an attention to detail all whilst dutifully managing protocols during the COVID-19 crisis. The waiting room is clean and comfortable, and there is convenient parking right out front as well as public transport nearby. I would definitely send my loved ones here for medical advice and care. All of the doctors here are very experienced and will always listen to the patient, making their health the number one priority.
Absolutely wonderful practice with very respectful and professional staff and doctors. They actually cared about me and my health and wellbeing over the almighty dollar which was a refreshing change. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.
The receptionist was lovely and professional however I can't say the same for Dr Vickneswaran Sangapillai. Driven to posting my first review because he was that infuriating. Condescending and unprofessionally refused to give me a blood test to test my iron and B levels. I would understand refusing to prescribe something harmful - He could have sensitively asked for more reasons as to why I actually needed said blood test but couldn't even do that. Made me feel wrong for taking proactive care of my health. Don't become a GP if you can't handle routine prescription and having a professional patient care manner.
Saw Dr Fernando a few months ago, she was incredible, highly highly recommend, knew what she was talking about, very respectful, very attentive, very professional, very caring, everything you could ask from a GP and more. Reception were lovely too, definitely rate this clinic!
