Recently stayed here at the Alpine Resort and had previously stayed here a number of times over the years.nAwesome place with great facilities, excellent for young children with many activities to get involved with. We had an amazing spacious 3 bedroom apartment this time over looking one of the pools with views to lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains.nnBut this review is more based on cleaning not up to standard as it should be when you are paying over $400 a night. Went to use the oven and had dirty foil on oven tray with a greasy mess under it, so gave that a miss.nMain rubbish bin was hard to use without shoes as the foot piece was gone and just a narrow metal piece.nThe 2 bathroom fan heaters were covered in dust that haven't been cleaned in a while, with the slight smell of burning dust can be a fire risk if left on. One fan sounded like it was broken with a clicking noise from the blades when on. Also the ceiling vents in bathrooms were rather dirty and dusty and needed a good clean.nnThis resort is a 5 star every time with the great location and facilities. But the cleanliness in a few important places let you down this time for a 3 star.nnThanks

Spectacular views of lake and mountains. Beautiful suite and well equipped with all hat you need including washer and dryer. Garage for car. Staff were really friedly and helpful.Couldve easily stayed longer

Loved our stay here. Nice spacious rooms with modern facilities, and some fun treats for the kids like the hot tubs and games tables. Staff were excellent and super accommodating when we needed to change our booking dates due to bad weather. Great value overall.

A great place to stay, private, had a garage, and good ndoor and outdoor flow. A little bit away from main centre but that didn't bother us.

Great view to the mountains. Comfortable bed and good for the price.
