The Wanaka Hotel offers accommodation in a great location in the centre of town only one minute walk to the Lake and Town Centre.
Our Accommodation consists of Double, Twin and Triple Hotel Rooms. Many with a view of the Lake, also available are Economy Rooms great value for up to 4 people in the same room. All rooms have Ensuite Bathroom, TV and Wifi.
Onsite there is cafe serving breakfast, lunch, coffee and cakes daily. The Bullock Bar with TAB, Pokies and plenty of local atmosphere. The Steakhouse at the Bullock Bar Grill, serving Premium Reserve Grade Steak every night from 6pm. Amigos Mexican Grill for Hot Mexican and Cool Margaritas Daily from 5pm.
Surrounded by magnificent mountains and the tranquil lake, Wanaka is the perfect destination for that special holiday.

Rooms are dated and not very comfortable. The smallest amounts of shampoo/ soaps which is really only enough for 1 person. The room was very clean though- house keeping clearly the backbone keeping this place going. Good sized car park out the back so no battle for car parking.nNo aircon or ceiling fans and no elevator to get to upper floor.
Despite the negative reviews on google map, I had a pleasant stay. Room is clean and tidy my priority!, staff was friendly and helpful - have no complains :nnLocation is great with lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants near by!nnIt is true that there is no elevator so might be tough to go down / up one floor if you get a room that’s not on the grand floor.
There's no air-conditioner in the room and no elevator in the hotel. Please reconsider if you would like to stay in the summer time with heavy luggage.nnIt is located at town centre. Very convenient to the tourist. Parking friendly. Can park in front of the road of the hotel.
Fantastic location, right near the lake and only a short stroll to restaurants.nRoom was clean and tidy, and the staff were helpful and friendly.nIf you stay here, you absolutely have to eat some of the amazing food at Scroggins which is next door to the hotel.nI had one of the best coffees I've had there.
Had a cozy means small room.nnWhich was adequate for me and me partner. clean, tidy properly provided with necessities.nnMs Marisol , from reception was particularly welcoming and helpful.nnIn the city centre.
