The Wanaka Hotel offers accommodation in a great location in the centre of town only one minute walk to the Lake and Town Centre.
Our Accommodation consists of Double, Twin and Triple Hotel Rooms. Many with a view of the Lake, also available are Economy Rooms great value for up to 4 people in the same room. All rooms have Ensuite Bathroom, TV and Wifi.
Onsite there is cafe serving breakfast, lunch, coffee and cakes daily. The Bullock Bar with TAB, Pokies and plenty of local atmosphere. The Steakhouse at the Bullock Bar Grill, serving Premium Reserve Grade Steak every night from 6pm. Amigos Mexican Grill for Hot Mexican and Cool Margaritas Daily from 5pm.
Surrounded by magnificent mountains and the tranquil lake, Wanaka is the perfect destination for that special holiday.

Our stay at Wanaka hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic - 100 meters up the road from the lake and a great kinds playground. The view from our room was breathtaking. The room itself was very clean, comfy and cosy. I loved that the cafe and the Mexican restaurant were attached so you didn't have to venture out if you didn't want to. The community kitchen on the ground level was great as well and we've used it a few times to cook our meals. Overall, I rate this hotel as very family friendly and would highly recommend it
The property and the room we got was exceptional. We were given the Royal Suite, our bedroom and sitting room opened up to the views of the Mountains and lake. Was a surreal experience! The room had everything - microwave, electric kettle, enough coffee/tea sachets, the toilet was quite big with a jacuzzi with enough towels and toiletries. The beds were spacious and quite comfortable, the pillows perfect. We requested for 2 fans which were promptly provided to us. The location was fabulous, bang in the town, 2 mins from the lake and restaurants. Definitely a great place to stay and will stay here again when I visit Wanaka in future. Door lock in the toilet would be an important recommendation.
the place is clean, the view is stunning to the mountain and lake. Front office man very helpfull and friendly..love to stay here.
Great location, great service! However, the walls are paper thin and I could hear people screaming down the hallway all night, and the shower was leaking out into the room.
We enjoyed our one night stay at Wanaka hotel. The staff was very warm and hospitable. When we realised we had left our valuables a few hours after we had checked out, we returned back and the staff at the reception kindly helped us to retrieve everything. We are so thankful and I’m sorry that I did not get the lady’s name at the reception. Thank you once again appreciates Have a good one!
