We’ve been traveling in New Zealand for the last few weeks and have stayed in quite a few nice hotels, but this is one of our favorites. It’s very clean, well located, and very well appointed. The owners were extremely helpful and they’ve obviously taken great care to equip the rooms with almost everything you’d need to cook for yourself and to otherwise enjoy your stay. There’s even a little playground and barbecue area. Just great!
Just walking into the room and seeing all those posted “little reminders” everywhere already gave me the chills.nnIf you don’t allow cooking in the kitchen, then don’t advertise that the kitchen is usable! Okay, you can grill steaks outdoors with the BBQ, but who the hell wants to stand outside freezing in 5–6°C weather after dark, and then have to clean everything up afterwards?nnAlso, they require you to keep the bedroom, kitchen, and toilet doors tightly closed when sleeping, without letting in even a single ray of light. What does that mean? It means when you wake up in the morning and need to use the toilet, it feels like stepping into an ice cave!nAnd the most ridiculous part is that the air conditioning automatically shuts off at 9 AM, while checkout is at 10 AM. Do you really need to treat guests this harshly?nnEven more nitpicky than most Airbnb hosts! Absolutely not recommended!
Great motel. Owner was very welcoming and helpful at check in. Showed me to my room and asked me about my stay. Great sized room with a kitchen area. Couldn’t fault it.
Comfortable clean rooms, good price, good walking distance from everything in town and to top it all off the lady at check-in was the upmost friendly and wonderful. Would definitely stay here again
Tidy motel, a bit hard to find for us. Very clean, comfy beds. Nice kitchenette and dining table was very convenient eating. Missing some bathroom lightbulbs but owner came right away to put them in office isn't open after hours but if u press the doorbell someone is prob going to answer. Conditioner container has shampoo, my hair was doubly clean! We did love the extra space!
