Have stayed in cabins here on several occasions, very clean and tidy but getting a little dated. each cabin has own ensure but it is separated from cabin and requires going outside. Friendly helpful staff,

Definitely a good place to stay for one or two nights, amenities were clean, but to be fair it wasn’t busy at all, I was probably the only one using the female bathroom. Most of the ‘campers’ are long term. Kitchen is very very old, e.g. the stove looks like it’s from 1940. Overall a good place to stay for one night but definitely not super pretty if you’re looking for something nice.

The caravan park in Mount Isa is a bit of a faded Rose of Days Gone by needs a major upgrade but the staff of very very friendly very helpful and they can only work with what their supplied with but it does need a major upgrade to everything all the showers amenities ensuite sites even the bitumen entry needs a upgrade

Major gripe was the dirty ablution block...it was a disgrace Saturday afternoon. Dirty and no toilet paper, soap and water over floors. Shower curtains to short. By Sunday morning it was a total disgrace. No hand paper towels, no toilet paper, no hand clean soap. Very untidy, worst we have experienced in 8000 klms of travel. Minor issue but disruptive to other customers..we had to ask for a couple of cars to be moved. Site unsuitable for 535 van as cabin tenants park in laneway meaning must drive over sharp concrete edges at an awkward angle to get van into allocated space. Not a pleasant experience.
