Shower was filthy when I checked in on Sunday. Base was sticky and walls had hairs stuck to them. Took three complaints before someone finally cleaned it on Wednesday. Beds were not 'luxury' and in fact had springs making noises and sticking in to me every night. The single bed base was worn and torn and looked grubby. No complimentary bottled water as stated on website. Only one wine glass in a three person room. Outside balcony had empty bottles on it when I checked in and were still there when I checked out on Friday. This accommodation was advertised as high end and was markedly more expensive than others in the area. Central location was handy however this single positive aspect could not outweigh the negatives. I do not recommend.
Location was excellent.nThe staff were friendlynThe housekeeping was terrible. The bed was never made up in the 3 days we were there.nThe breakfast was just terrible. The only fruit was an orange. There was bread to toast but no plates to put it on. When I asked for a plate, I was told to look in the cupboard. There were none!nDont wast your money on breakfast here, as at the clubs or restaurants, in town you can get a hot meal, cooked fresh for leas
Nothing beats knowing what to expect when you are booking a hotel experience. After a very rough and ready week I was looking forward to a comfy bed, hot shower and refreshing air-conditioning. The property didn’t look fabulous from the street but inside it was a haven. A world away from the outback surroundings and back to city style comfort.
Very comfy room setup, Staff were very considerate of my nightshift arrangement and cleaned my room first thing in the morning so that I could get to sleep.
The best aspect of the hotel is the staff, which are led by the extremely professional General Manager, Lex.nThe restaurant, Giuseppe Cantina, is a definite positive addition to the hotel, and remains one of my breakfast highlights.
