I have only been on the phone with this store a single time. Amazing and personalised service. They make you feel welcome, great product knowledge and really friendly and down to Earth service. Too many other stores, when you call them, you get the feeling they just want to get rid of you and end the conversation. I got the opposite experience with DesignCraft Will visit the store soon and get my first Herman Miller chair!
Reviewing customer service and showroom. Overall the purchase experience was good. The enquiry process was decent and even though I had to prompt about a few product options, the end result is that I got what I needed. The store is well presented and staffed. You are helped when you need it and left alone to browse when you'd prefer. The product pick up process was good, with consideration given to small details that make logistics easier. They're flexible with sorting out the details and timing when it comes to ordering etc. They do list some items as "for sale" that have a very long lead time which unfortunately seems to be the norm in Australia in 2022 however they are transparent about the lead times and manage your expectations well. Again, I was impressed overall and am glad we have a supplier like this in Canberra.
Without a doubt, Designcraft stock the most beautiful and iconic furniture brands from around the world all of my favourites. The showroom and staff are just amazing to visit. So happy with all of my Herman Miller pieces over the years. Everyone I know comments on how great they look in my house. Thanks to the team for all of your assistance. See you again very soon.
Beautiful shop with a great range of products. I bought my Herman Miller office chair from the guys here which has been great. They were happy to recycle the large cardboard box it came in when I picked it up, my little kids loved the box more so we brought it home with us!
I visited the showroom a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately the member of staff who assisted us didn’t have a great manner and was actually quite argumentative. Designcraft though has an amazing range of products which cannot be purchased elsewhere in Canberra. I really wanted to support local, rather than purchase online and so tried again and this time, was assisted by Lenora. She, for me, redeemed Designcraft, she was efficient and was able to process our order of a pendant light promptly and followed through with everything she said she would. I’m glad I decided to give Designcraft another go, we are building a house and they really do have some special pieces.
I have purchased lighting &Tradition through the team at Designcraft . They are helpful, extremely knowledgeable of the designers, furniture and lighting they sale. Based in Hume, which is easily accessible for people living in Canberra, with a wide range on display well worth a visit, even just to browse Highly recommended.
An excellent team. They have great knowledge, an eye for detail, experience in combining contemporary and classical design. They go out of their way for providing the best design advise and have brilliant customer care. I would not use any other store in Canberra for purchasing that original unique piece of furniture. Highly recommend the whole team.
From the minute I first entered design crafts showroom I have had nothing but stellar service. Starting with the furniture on display to the personalised customer service and then finishing with the prompt and smooth delivery of my beautiful purchases has kept me returning. Designcraft will certainly be my first go to for future furniture purchases.
Absolutely love walking through this shop. So many beautiful pieces of furniture. Charmaine is wonderfully helpful, so much knowledge of products. Highly recommend buying furniture you will love from here.
Great range of designer home and office furnishings. There is no other store like it in Canberra. I purchased the Hay outdoor range and the quality is excellent.
