We bought a bed from this shop. The display one was the last one. So it had disassembled. When it arrived. The draws were all scratched and it didn't come with any screws. We rang up and they said they were left on the van. So we came in and collected them. I assembled the frame only to find out they also forgot the screws that hold the bed board in place. To anyone that is thinking of buying from this place. Make sure you don't buy a bed that they'll have to take apart.

I'll start by saying the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars and not 1 is because the product did eventually arrive, was satisfactory in it's condition and the staff (at least while trying to make the sale) were helpful in helping us to pick the right bed and making the transaction. I was one of two people involved in purchasing it, the bed however was for a mate (the other person in this transaction) who lives in Canberra. Unfortunately it's after the point of sale where it all feel apart completely for us. Paid $79 odd dollars for delivery and picked a date, two weeks for the mattress to be made and ready to deliver (their words) then picked a delivery date 2 days after the supposive product completion date. This date was written on the tax receipt. The day before the delivery date I contacted the store to confirm the delivery time for the delivery tomorrow, I was told the driver would contact my mate on the number given to them tomorrow morning, fine. The next morning my mate waited till mid day but no one had called, not Bedshed Fyshwick or this supposive driver. I called Bedshed again, this time I'm told his bed isn't in the store and is still at the factory waiting to be delivered to them. Where's the communication??? My mate used his moving day at work to get the day off for this delivery and it took me calling on the day for them to finally inform us that the delivery date agreed upon and written on the tax receipt at the time of sale wasn't going to be kept. If they'd called even the day before at a responsible hour it would have been fine, day off would have been moved and it would have been sweet. Instead it took us having to call them on the day before they could finally utter those words. We then agreed to have the mattress delivered on Saturday as he couldn't get another weekday off. Saturday then rolled around, this time Bedshed did call my mate (yay) but to say that they were short staffed on drivers and that it would be coming late, fine, if it can't be helped then whatever. When the delivery driver did arrive in the late afternoon he got a genuinely nice and very apologetic bloke who informed us of Bedshed's error were they effectively stuffed up all the delivery addresses in Kingston for that day. Why the unnecessary lie from Bedshed? Why did we need to be lied too after all this, a simple "there has been an error and deliveries will delayed, but don't worry, it will come today" was all that was needed. I'm willing to take the drivers word here, a story of Bedshed failing to communicate well sounded pretty believable to me, more plausible then a sicknesses crisis at the very least. Just as an extra note, I remember when purchasing the mattress that I mentioned the delivery address was an apartment on a 2nd floor and was that going to be an issue. I was told no as each delivery has two members to complete each delivery. That might be the case but it wasn't on Feb 10th 2018. Instead he's paid $79 for one poor bloke to deliver this mattresses and not 2 (half the wages). Another lie to add to the terrible post payment service we experienced.

Rushabh was so kind and helpful in my quest to buy new beds. He was very accommodating and understanding. The beds are perfect. Could not find another bed like the Benton in Canberra and my kids are thrilled with them. Thank you for the great service, products, delivery and assembly which all ran very smoothly.

Prices are average, parking is limited and awkward, service is patchy and the variety is limited.
