The platter featured a variety of succulent kebabs, tikkas, and flavorful starters, each prepared with precision and authenticity. The spices were well-balanced, and every bite was a treat to the taste buds.nnNext, we indulged in the chicken karahi, which was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. The karahi was rich, aromatic, and packed with traditional flavors that transported us straight to the streets of Pakistan. The tender chicken, paired with perfectly spiced gravy, was an absolute delight.nnThe chapli kebab was another standout dish. Cooked to perfection, the kebabs were juicy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spices. nnI recently dined at Des Restaurant in Auckland, and it was an incredible experience! The Chicken Karahi was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that left me wanting more. The Desi Chai was the perfect accompaniment, truly elevating the meal. The platter we ordered was simply awesome, showcasing a variety of delightful dishes that catered to all tastes. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're in the area, this is definitely the right place for the right food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!
Food was absolutely stunning. Meat is tender and full of flavour. Naan crispy. Rice fluffy and tasty.nnOnly pointers I can give are, chicken in curry could be smaller pieces. They should also get a filter tap to serve water.nnEasily come again.
Update - service has been really bad and slow. The guy at the counter doesn’t even have basic conversation manners. With only 30% tables occupied, not even able to deliver a single dish for lunch in 30 mins is unacceptable.nnPrevious reviewnThe only authentic Pakistani food serving restaurant in Auckland. Service has been up and down for a while but really enjoyed the breakfast buffet even though we were a large group.nThe paye are nice but the channay reminded me of Lahore which is such a treat.
