I wanted to leave this review for the absolutely wonderfully kind & patient lady Ms Jo M who I had the pleasure of being served by on Tues 19th & Wed 20th May at Wynnum Branch. I'd taken my youngest child in to sit her practical driving test. A series of out of left field hurdles occurred and my daughter wasn't able to do test as planned that day she was distraught. Jo M was so kind to us. She talked us through all the options & generally made a terrible day better. I went back on Wed morning to follow up some aspects & Jo M served me again. She completely understood how overwhelmed I was & made me feel so much better about the situation.nUnfortunately, my family had been having a week from hell this week. Fortunately my daughter was able to sit her practical test on Wed a sudden vacancy had popped up & she left Qld Transport with her P's. If it wasn't for Jo M I highly doubt this story would have had a happy ending. Also, massive thanks & gratitude to a local Ben who saw me upset quietly crying in the carpark & came & offered his help, which I really needed at the time. Without his help my daughter wouldn't have been able to sit her test either. Im not used to help like that from strangers,  as usually can sort stuff myself, but not this time. The combo of both Jo M staff member & Ben local, I assume? really were like little angels in the right place at the right time. It may not seem a big deal to them, but it was something I will never forget as a stressed mum barely holding it together.

Jasmine at Cleveland because off course I have to be 100’d kms from home when Dep of Transport is necessary  provided exceptional assistance—truly a gem of a person! I was dealing with challenging circumstances, and it was remarkable to see how her engagement with me gently shifted, demonstrating a deep level of understanding and compassion that is rare, even in the best of situations. I'm sharing this review to ensure management acknowledges her talent. She deserves consideration for a promotion into a specialized role where her skills can truly shine.

I would not recommend this place for converting an overseas licence to a Queensland driver licence.nnI recently attended my driving test here for the second time, and my experience was very frustrating. During my first test, the Driving Examiner DE accepted my vehicle without any issues. However, when I returned two weeks later for my second test, a different DE refused to accept the same car.nnThe explanation given was that although he could technically accept the vehicle, he did not want to take it on the road because the thread depth might not enough. This reasoning made little sense, especially since the same vehicle had been approved just two weeks earlier.nnHe then told us that he would only proceed if we brought another car and gave us just three minutes to do so, which was unrealistic and unreasonable.nnThe whole experience felt inconsistent and unprofessional. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this centre for overseas licence conversions.

I had to renew my licence today, went to Wynnum branch and although the waiting room was packed, was not waiting too long. When it was my turn I was helped by the lovely Jo, met with a genuine smile, she was very friendly and knowledgeable. Five out of five experience, thanks Jo

I dealt with Jo W 2 days in a row at Wynnum. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She has such a wonderful demeanour and she made a hard situation easy and did it all with a smile while under pressure. Thanks Jo!
