I enjoyed my shopping experience here. The sales were amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. The department store was very clean and tidy. I highly recommend going here, you won't be disappointed. But get a hotel close by so you won't have far to take all your shopping.
02.08.2022 Lovely store. Reminded me of John Lewis in UK. Walked through womenswear and it was very clean and tidy. Coming from UK it was the wrong season's clothing but all was enticingly laid out and 20% discount clearly marked.
A SLIGHTLY SMALLER DJ's IN BRISBANE CBD DJs is well known across Australia for high quality clothing and homewares. This store is in Brisbane's CBD. It has a reasonable range but not quite up to the "flagship" standards of its Sydney brother! People with mobility issue will be fine as the store has escalators and even floors.
On 16 January 2023, I visited David Jones Ladies Wear to look at formal dresses for my nephew’s pending wedding. I didn’t expect to find anything because I am Plus Size and approached the David Jones store with great trepidation in my lunch break. “Carine” approached me to offer assistance. When I explained what I needed, with total focus Carine quickly found some choices. She was so professional and obviously has a great eye for knowing what suits an individual. The very first dress I tried on was perfect. She explained it gave me shape and was perfect for a youthful wedding as it was a fun design. She then advised me about shoes and stockings. Carine, I thought it would take me months to find something, but with your great eye for what would work, you quickly found me something that was perfect for my shape and complexion. Thank you for making me so happy and making me feel so special during what I thought would be a depressing task!
I was looking for fragrance samples today and went to both Chanel Beauty and David Jones. I found the Chanel salesperson a bit unwelcoming; by contrast, the service at David Jones was super friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for fragrances.

Noone approaches you at all in the shoe section. The area you actually need service to find a shoe size or I won’t purchase them at all. 2 or 3 service ppl standing around not even rushed off their feet, talking to each other. Once on sunday, and againnthe following day. Makes me feel uncomfortable to be able to approach anyone if they dont want to help anyone.
Great products, excellent service, enjoyable shopping experience.
Went to Queens Plaza David Jones. Attempted to get some service at Dior counter. This was 10am on a Wed morning, so not v busy. The lady at the counter kept me waiting for ages while she did paperwork. When I started to ask her some questions about a certain product she was v curt and short. Face looked like thunder! I went and spent my money at Sisley instead.
Weirdly elitist vibes for a department store that looks to be in a complete state of disarray. I have come here quite frequently as it is my local and each time I wait for a better shopping experience. I get the impression there are some pretty glaring staffing issues, potentially with outsourcing. Either way, at no point have I ever felt like a valued customer, across any department or individual brand inside. Maybe I don’t look like I have as much to spend, so why bother trying. The last time I went was the straw that broke the camel’s back and I awoke in the middle of the night and thought: hey, that was really *bleeping* rude?
