May 2023 Have you ever experienced without doing anything wrong and stopped by the clerk and asking to check the bag? I did, last night. With no reason, I was asked to check my bag. I didn’t want to waste my time arguing with them, just letting it be. After that, when I calm down. I felt very bad. Even the staff in the airport, they didn’t ask me to do that. How about The BIG W? And after that, they didn’t explain why and with no apology. I would say, if this is the customer service that you want to experience. Welcome to BIG W.
Balloon service lady was lovely and helpful. Post purchase - The quality of the balloons was so poor. Within 10 mins after collection of my order one very large foil balloon exploded. I had to argue for a refund for my exploded foil balloon, I was told that it is the customers issue if the balloon explodes even if this occurs whilst the balloon is being filled in store. So if the balloon is faulty that is my fault and I am not entitled to a refund legally—apparently. I finally did receive a refund but the service desk lady looked quite unhappy and was short with me. She would not refund the gas. This is a matter of principle. Poor quality products should not be sold and when coupled with poor quality after sales service I won’t be back.
There were only self service checkouts . Only one lady to assist customers and 4 people all needing assistance. It was frustrating and annoying and it is time to bring back customer service. I do not work for you. I realise all stores are moving this way but if one store maintains customer service that is where I will shop even if it costs more.
Great Store, Great Prices. Located Central Downtown. Best options if you need some deals for interior decoration of your rented flat.
I like this store only the second level because I find great presents here for Kitchenware eg Churros makers, Waffle irons etc. Sometimes, DVDs but they also have a good range of dining items and a few toys here and there. The store is very spacious and I like the bar code scanners scattered around the shop to double check pricing.
Pretty poor customer service, however quite a good store for various household, clothing goods etc at reasonable prices.
This Big W is really nice and has a wide variety of products to offer. We bought a blender-mixer at a very descent price.
The lady at the cash out kicked me and my friend out because was already time to close when we were already paying, she was saying to go fast, terrible feeling for a customer, not coming back anymore.
Good variety, nice set up. helpful staff. Only have self checkout option. Better to shop online and pick up in store if you can't use self checkout. I can't because of my back. Would is be five out of five if had staffed checkout open.
Great store, lovely staff especially the nice lady on the door. Always helpful
