Strongly recommend Denmark house! DANISH SMØRREBRØD OPEN SANDWICHES are all lovely creature made by the master chef. Classy atmosphere added with a tint of danish royal feeling. So lucky Melbourne could have this authentic danish restaurant.
Clearly produced with passion and attention to detail. As we all start to return to the office, put this place on your lunch list. $9-11 per sandwich depending on the topping, but generously loaded!
Danish design decor restaurant with food that resemble danish cuisine. Very nice beer and aquavit selection. As a Dane, I think the food lacks slightly, but I'll still be back.
Excellent selection of Danish open sandwiches on rye. Esp go for the herring i think second on the seafood menu and also the meat ball. Definitely be back, please do cinnamon and cardamom buns as a dessert though
Went with a member and we had open sandwiches with herring, belly pork and other delicious toppings.
Simply sensational! A great authentic food experience that we just keep coming back for. Staff are great and the restaurant is appropriately fitted out with danish lamps and photos of the royals. Only negative is they’re closed on the weekend.
Enjoyed a work breakup lunch at Denmark House. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lunch was a range of open sandwiches with fries to accompany. The sandwiches were presented on wooden boards with each serving delivered to table at a nice pace. Dietary needs accommodated. Bar had a good selection of Danish schnapps
