Basilico Carnegie

Food was excellent, but our meals came at very different times. My partner had finished his pizza before my main had arrived. Bruschetta was flavourful and the risotto with king prawns yummy. Serve was too big for me.

Pizza is okay, lasagna is a bad joke! Was served still cold in the inside, returned it. A few minutes later the same lasagna came back just quickly heated up in a microwave. Waitress was disinterested, messed up the drinkers order. For the price they ask for one would expect a better service and higher quality.

Does an okay job. Good for kids. Not itching to get back though. Wait staff are attentive and food was pretty quick, just not up there with the best tasting Italian I’ve had.

Carbonara was great. However, did not like the fact that they added spring onions onto it as that is not how the traditional carbonara is made.

Best Italian food in Carnegie! Carbonara pasta is the best

One of the better Italian takeaway places in the area. We’ve had the pizza, pasta, and some of the sides many times now and always enjoy it. The arancini balls are especially delicious!
