Came in for lunch to Danny’s for a couple of times during my break and I must say the service is outstanding and the food is super delicious! All dishes are prepared freshly on the spot. The kitchen is super busy but at the same time, every step is executed in such an efficient way that you can enjoy your food within 10 minutes of ordering! Enjoy
The food didn't wait long to be served. However the portion is small and not for a hungry person. Fried rice wasn't tasty, and KL Hokkien mee too sweet. Teh Tarik could be better. CKT & Hor Fun, not fussy could passed.
Family favourites! Very authentic Malaysian hawker style noodles - char Kwai teow and Sar hor fun amongst others if miss those food. My Fav… HAR MEE!!!
Very authentic Malaysian food. Nice food. Overlook l the services and deco.
Hidden gem hawker style restaurant. We enjoyed the beef rendang with roti, curry laksa, char kway teow and teh tarik only hot variety. The pork trotters in sweet vinegar sauce was also very well done, not too sweet with good braising. Would highly recommend to those seeking an authentic Malaysian experience. The restaurant itself is basic but clean and has only a small team so it is mostly self-service - order at the counter and collect your bowls, cutlery and glasses. Food is brought out to you as it is ready. There is also complimentary hot Chinese tea.
A mixture of hits and misses, but leaning towards more misses. Popiah was overloaded with cucumbers making it a cold dish. Should be more of the yam bean and a nice warmer dish. At the price point, really felt shortchanged. KL Hokkien mee, Hokkien Mee and Fried Mee Siam were nice but not amazing, lacking that little pmbit of flavour that would push it across the line. Rojak needs to have You Tiao and Tau Pok which just compete it. Probably the most uncomfortable was the fact that the restaurant was extremely cold. The back door is wide open letting all the cold air in. Just wanted to finish up and leave.
Service was prompt, food was great one of the best Nasi Goring I have ever had. We really enjoyed the Rendang Beef, a nice hit of spice and very tender.
Very Good food, good price, fast service. Fairly plain table settings, wooden chairs and a small table. However, it was a good dining experience nonetheless with some authentic dishes, such as pigs trotters marinated in dark soy and vinegar.
Very humble little place that has quite a few surprising goodies. Things that I recommend include their asam laksa, char koay teow & har mee. I'll be trying others soon and will update my recommendation accordingly. The uncle is very nice and courteous. Update: I've just had their "wet" popiah. It's YUM! Highly recommend you try it if you're from Malaysia or Singapore. It's only available on weekends, between 11am - 2pm.
We ordered the KL hokkien noodle and it was not authentic and doesn't taste that nice. The Nasi Kampung Fried rice was good. My suggestion is to choose the dishes in the menu with a chef's hat. For the price of it, the portion is small. On a side note, the receipt they provided is handwritten. So if you are planning to use it to claim for your dining voucher, then this will not work.
