Not so much 'Parklands' as an open patch of land that serves as a water catchment for Dandenong Creek and retarding basin adjacent to Eastlink and Wellington Rd.   Likely it was never developed due to the fact that in winter it's flooded and boggy and in summer it's an open area full of long grass and blackberry's.  While there is a new bridge and path to the service center on Eastlink and a track around the water dam, there is no much else to see or do.

However, if you like a little bit of urban wilderness exploration in winter you can get wet all over and in summer you can get lost in the grass and blackberry - however, its not somewhere you'd take small children to play.
