Must say the staff is very friendly , the girl at counter was courteous and attentive. However chef's Attitude was worst. When waitress went inside to advise him that I am still waiting for my Pick up order after 30 mins , His response was " let him wait " , yes I heard that all the way from their kitchen . food quality is OK . but they should pay more attention to customer service
we had takeaway butter chicken from here, we had 7 small pieces of chicken swimming in a very sweet, very very tomato flavoured sauce, worst butter chicken we have ever tasted. We did ring to complain and were offered another butter chicken for free, we took them up on the offer, which was very good of them, but it just wasn't very nice. Customer service was very good though. We won't be eating from here again
We been there on Indian new year day. It was a Monday, very quite we are the only table booked with a group of 8. we spent two hour on waiting and finishing our dinner. Customer service was zero when I asked why it's delaying for this long instead of apology staff inlolved in argument. Having a nice quality food with no service , make no sense. Ordered kulcha came at last after we finished with biriyani. Pricey in compare to quantity.
Reading all your responses about this restaurant and to tell you the truth I believe 3/4 of the hatred Indians or other people work at other Indian restaurants. I have been coming here since the take over and I have eaten in every Indian restaurant in werribee and hoppers crossing. And this is by far the closest thing to authentic Indian cooking the stuff are friendly and funny the chefs are fantastic and eat in or take away the food is brilliant highly recommend. It's so good that I have recommended this place to an Indian person and he was totally shocked how beautiful the food is.
I've read a lot of these reviews and feel as if there is a lot of unjustified hatred towards this place, I myself eat here once a fortnight with the occasional weekly trip, the food is well portioned, cheaply priced and tastes great. I really recommend this place to literally anyone as there mild option is very mild and can be enjoyed by people who don't necessarily like spicy food not that every Indian dish is spicy anyway If your looking for something new to try you can't go wrong by eating here. My mates love it My girlfriend loves it I love it Enjoy!
took 3 hours for them to deliver my food, then offered me the deal pay full price now and then 50% off the next order. when it came to my next order they refused to honour the promise and told me to expect 3 hours wait, its normal. I then proved what was promised and they asked to call me back in ten minutes so they could speak with their manager, then never called back. I called them and they said no it doesn't matter about the promise. staff was rude and hard to deal with, food was awful at best to top it off. Try other places! plenty of good ones in werribee : Tash
The old restaurant daani paani is closed and this is a new restaurant. I stopped going to this place in past but when a friend told me that its a new restaurant at same place so thought of giving it a try. And I am glad I did. Its an amazing place with amazing service. Its hard to find authentic indian food and I am finally happy to have found one near me. The menu is great and its spicy too ;-. Taste is exactly like what we find back in home. The family who is running the restaurant are great and humble people. Every item on menu is great so you cannot go wrong by ordering anything. The kulfi icecream has paan taste is great. Forgot to take its picture as it was so great that I only stopped eating when it was finished. Great service, great staff, tasty food, great location with plenty of parking.
Most feedback below is 100% on the money. No service - even attitude if you don't understand their poor communication skills and you'd be better off just order via phone or menu log and pick up without having to deal with them : if they pick up the phone......... Rate them a 0 on service. It's really hard to tell which of the comments posted in this review are posted by them LMAO............. great service, great value for money, I object, great quality blah blah blah. Suck it up and take on your feedback posted by your real customers who are very dissatisfied !!
Visited this place a few times over the past couple of years, last being just after xmas 14, We had small family dinner last friday night, unbelievably ordinary in comparison to the past. 6 mains 2 naan asked for two rice and charged 4. $150 later. I used to go here as quality was good and value for money. Never again, Sauce base in ALL dishes was like water, traditional indian food is known for thick sauce, it was just water, tasteless and when asked how is it I told the lady just that. Upon paying, nothing was offered , not even a cent which if you intend to be cheap and skip on your promise and still not offer something means one thing, No respect. Upon paying we asked why it ws so watery and bland and was told , it must have been the rush!! What rush, 4 people were in the place and no take out was taken. Absolutely dont bother, cheap cheap and cheap is the word.
Worst customer service. I went to order for take away for next day, the manager told me that the owner/chef is not available and only he can do the order next day. Manager promised me that the owner will call me late in the evening but I never received any call from either from the owner or the manager. I will never go back there again and would not recommend any of my family and friend to go there either. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable customer service.
