Friendly staff, good quality bikes. We rented outside of weekend opening hours and rang the phone number on the door. The bike rental guy was there within minutes. He was friendly and got us our bikes promptly. The bikes themselves were good quality and well suited to the Great Western Greenway. We got a puncture at the very end in one bike and wheeled the bikes the last km or so, but the guy collecting out bikes said we should have gave him a ring even so, which was quite decent.
Great all-around experience. Declan was very helpful and accommodating, our ride to Achill was spectacular and the e-bikes we rented were just right. Highly recommended!
Went in without reservation on a weekday morning and they were able to set us up with bikes within the hour thanks Loraine!. Would recommend reservation or call night to ensure they have the bikes and gives them time to get them ready. Great selection, bikes were nice and had great suggestions on where to ride we went Great Western Greenway towards Mulranny, before stopping at Nevin's for a bite to eat. They also have gear, in case you forget something, like rain gear ;
Anthony and Gavin at Westport Bike Shop are awesome. Thank you so much for providing me with a nice Trek bike to ride in the area in June 2022. From the initial contact via email to dropping off the bike after regular hours, Westport Bike Shop was very helpful and responsive. My brother also rented from Westport and we had a great time riding out to Louisburgh and to Ballintuber Abbey. I was able to ride with the Covey's group and had an excellent time. I can't recommend Westport Bike Shop more highly. Cheers!
clean shop but didnt fix bike proper peddal fell of after 2 rides gears still jumping. found out that crank screw over tighten and damaged. rang up as a customer felled let down by owner he cant remember and it will take a while to fine it in the order books to figureout who worked on the bike. fair enough but nothing overed or tried to. i ll fix it myself. thx

Wonderful service, walked in off the street and wanted to take a bike out for two days as I wanted to ride to Clifden. I needed saddle bags and got them in addition to great and friendly advice and a puncture repair kit. Very professional establishment.
Rented some bikes and trailers to take the kids up the Great Western Greenway. Let us swap a child seat for a trailer no problem when one of the girls didn't like the seat. Lots of parking which is ideal and short journey to the greenway. Very friendly and helpful. Thanks again
Stay at Westport house and my son's front Axel broke on his mountain bike so contacted Westport bike shop on a Sunday an no bother he's asked me to call in and he will sorted it had the wheel fixed in no time and at a great price, friendly service thanks again for your service.
Gearshifting problem solved with the help of Anthony. The standard spacer that is needed to fill up a 11 speed body to be able to use 9 speed cassette did not fit. Anthony could help me out with a spacer that did work. After putting the spacer in place and adjusting the cable tension the problems where solved and I could continue my bicycle trip accross Ireland.
