Joel did a wonderful job on my 1989 Harley Davidson Electra Glide. He rewired the harness on the rear fender and set up the tail light, rear turn signals and brake light. When I reinstalled the rear fender there was an issue with the brake lights operation. I took the bike over to him on a Saturday, and he fixed it. The problem was totaly unrelated to the rewiring job he had done. Joel cared enough have a look at the problem, fixed it, and then he didn't even charge me for the brake light issue! Since then Joel has sorted out other electrical issues with my bike. Joel is a top guy who does a good job. Custom Bike Electrics & Restorations is my choice when I have electrical problems.

Fantastic service, unbeatable knowledge, charged me less than what Joel should have for the quality work performed. Even the mobile mechanic 'Derek' that worked on the carbs did a fantastic job for a good price.
I'm NOT a fan of taking my bike to wrench monkeys, but i'll be going back here for sure.

Joel did a fantastic job getting my bikes electrics sorted out and running again.
Clean, tidy and professional work was carried out on the bike.
Highly recommend.

Custom Bike Electrics is a business to be avoided.  They advertise a quality service at reasonable prices but my experience demonstrated to me the total opposite.

I put a bike in with a suspected electrical problem with the specific request to get the bike running as I had to sell it.

They then proceeded to charge me nearly $700 dollars in labour to do minor work such as unnecessarily changing narva plugs (and over stating how many had been changed), putting in a fuse in wiring that had been done by a reputable electrical service, changing light bulbs and cleaning up the fuse holder.

I was $715 poorer when I left and the bike still does not run.

I will be putting up a video of this work.

This business is quite unscrupulous.  It had a friend post a review of Custom Bike Electrics on True Local stating how a bike restored by Custom Bike Electrics had won a show prize for best restoration at some sort of Japanese bike show.  What the review omitted was that that prize category was sponsored by Custom Bike Electrics.  That review was removed by True Local.

I could not recommend more strongly to avoid this business.

I had my BSA charging problem fixed perfectly. On time on budget and friendly service. I would recommend to anyone.
