I have been going to this pharmacy several times a week for years. I am on a restricted medication that requires me to pick it up 3 times a week. Dean and his team have at all times been professional, friendly and accommodating. I’m absolutely in disbelief over some of the reviews I’ve read. If anyone was going to experience negativity it would be me, I’m often on the doorstep upon opening, however I can say that on every occasion I have been to this pharmacy I haven’t once been met with negativity. Each and every staff member have treated me with respect and friendliness. Don’t believe any of the negative reviews. There was even one occasion where all staff were flood bound, but Dean came in especially just to dispense my medication as he knew I would be there panicking. This pharmacy and the staff are by far the best I’ve ever experienced. I dread ever having to move to a different part of town.
Unfortunately like everyone else I have received extremely poor customer service here. It is not the staff they are lovely and hard working it is the head pharmacist who needs to change his attitude. He will override what your Dr or even consultant at the hospital has ordered. The response to all the reviews attacking patients just goes to show his lack of empathy and respect. It's really no way to run a healthcare business. I hope he wakes up to himself. Focus on your ability to help others. Don't reply to me I don't want to hear it.
I cannot thank the lovely ladies and rest of the team enough at Currimundi TerryWhite. I had been in pain for a couple of days and my doctor "couldn't" help. I went in and spoke to Kayla who helped me as much as she was able to, and when what she suggested didn't help, she referred me to one of their pharmacists for further assistance, who directed me to go online and get an instant script, they even helped me sign up and showed me what medication to request. Within 5 minutes I had my script, order placed and medication in hand. They went above and beyond anything I expected and I am truly grateful. I will continue to go here, even just for future medication advice. Thank you team!
Kudos to all pharmacist, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy assistants I’ll definitely keep coming back — very knowledgeable to what they’re saying. I’ve also seen how they handle rude customers — and they treat them with utmost professionalism.
Have been a customer of Terry White Currimundi for years but won’t be back. A simple antibiotic is 3 times the price of their competitors. They have always price matched for us but when I asked today they said they haven’t done this for 6 months yet the Terry White 5 minutes down the road did.
Staff are a lovely bunch! And are experts with medications. But if you’re giving them trouble or drama, then it’s best to leave these lovely people alone and go to another pharmacy.
The pharmacist is rude and aggressive. He dismissed my wife's mobility health issues. Absolutely abhorent behaviour from a health professional. Do not reccomend visiting here. Even if it is your last option for an emergency script for insulin. The pharmacist refused to assist. Pleaople deserve respect and humility. The abuse of power dynamic here is totally unacceptable
7:28pm Sunday 9th Jan 2022 I did a google search for an open chemist and caught an Uber here after my partner had burnt herself hoping to get some Burn cream, you aren’t even open! I’ve wasted my money and my time while my partner sits at home in pain, update your open hours on Google and also on your shop front, so frustrating! I had to catch another Uber to an open chemist in Caloundra. After reading your reviews it is obvious that customer service is not a priority at your business #nothappyjan
Very convenient chemist since they are open longer hours, I definitely appreciate that as it means I don't have to drive too far. All the staff have always been happy, polite and efficient in their dealings with me and my family. Even when busy they are obviously doing their best to work through the backlog. Most of these poor reviews smell of review revenge by people upset that they couldn't get what they wanted despite chemist explaining why. Each day opening the doors must come with some wonder at what the day will bring, and "once more, into the fray!"
My mum, who is a very regular customer, attended the pharmacy on my behalf due to being in isolation. The lead pharmacist told her that they are not taking new patients as they are too busy, even though I am not a new patient as I have had many scripts filled there previously. Despite this the pharmacist still refused to fill my prescriptions. Because of this encounter TerryWhite has now lost my parents and I as customers. My parents are very frequent customers to this pharmacy and well known to this pharmacist for many many years as they both take a lot of daily medications. Over the past couple of months the pharmacist has become rude and unhelpful especially when it is not a common medication. I understand during this pandemic that stress and understaffing is very common in many industries and I am sympathic to this. However I believe that this is not a way to treat any customer regardless of frequency of visits. Good news, my mum took my prescriptions elsewhere to LiveLife Pharmacy Birtinya and they went above and beyond to have everything sorted within a short period of time even though we are new customers to this pharmacy. My parents have now taken their scripts to this pharmacy and TerryWhite has lost our business.
