The staff are very friendly and helpfull but it is next to impossible to contact this branch by phone. The app is not always easy to get on to. Twice I have tried to ring in the last two day only to have my call cancelled by Great Southern Bank by telling me they are busy and I should ring back later. This is NOT good service.
Been with this bank for over fifteen years. There are some helpful staff but I've had dealings with two different staff members from the home loan department of this institution who are downright condescending with no provocation. In my line of work I never ever treat my customers in this way. I've had IT issues where I could not move money between accounts and complained about it 3 separate times. Makes it hard to pay a mortgage when you cant top up the account that the payment is to come out of from the app. Why would I show good faith to an institution that treats it's customers so poorly. One of the good staff was the guy managing the ipswich Branch. He called me one day and got a better deal on my home loan. He was great, but the Ipswich branch closed and I never saw him again. Not sure where he went. Maybe you should start getting rid of the useless staff instead of the good ones? So anyone considering Great Southern Bank formerly CUA I can not state this enough. Stay away! Stay away! Stay away! Zero stars
went into CUA Browns Plains to organise my husband as a siginature on my account so he could bank money for me as we are a one car family. Got it all done was told he could bank money for me, went in one time for him to do it I was close by trust nothing would not let him said he need his own card really another card in your wallet, I came over and said hey wait a minute that person which I pointed at said this was ok that p erson ran as fast as he could out the back and then they got all arrogant said nope to bad so sad attitude SO RUDE

Charleen in home loan was absolutly amazing. We initally tried with St George who made it the worst experience possible. Would recommend CUA over the big guys anyday
I have had some credit card problems , trying to renew ,but have had the most helpful ,and polite person in, Jennifer . It was a pleasure to deal with her. Many thanks Jennifer .
Horrible CUA puts you on hold and then hangs up when you ring them. Horrible app and internet banking
