I recently passed a practical driving test in this transport department. what would you understand, I have been in Australia for 5 years out of these 5 years there was not a single day that I would not drive a car. For these 5 years I have not had a single traffic violation, there has not been a single traffic accident. So let's start with the fact that naturally I have an accent and my instructor Greg did not even try to hear me what I was trying to tell him. A clear prejudice against emigrants on his part, which he tries very hard to disguise. He flunked me in the exam on purpose because I'm just an immigrant. I can say that any unbiased person can tell an experienced driver from a novice. And specifically for the sake of principles, in order to allegedly prove to a person that he was taller than you, he flunked me for several non-critical mistakes on the road, the person understood that I had a foreign driver’s license, the person understood that I myself did not arrive in my car I specifically borrowed a car from a friend with a mechanical gearbox with a not quite serviceable clutch, the person understood that after that I wouldn’t even be able to go home by car, flunked me. I strongly advise against taking a practical test in this department of transport especially if you are an immigrant avoid Greg ask to change it to another instructor if of course it is possible, if not - “wish you good luck ”
Democracy at its finest. I went in 2hour wait… to register a vehicle. Finally my turn… turned away as we apparently did not have the right documents in their opinion. But we did, they just did not understand the difference. left and went to a different one, and easy and can be, we had all the right things. They need to listen and get out of the funk, of thinking they are always right.
I needed a change of registered owner form, but because I was asking a mate to sell my motorbike while I'm overseas, it became complicated. The young officer who assisted me, a pensioner, was incredibly helpful and patient. Sorry but I didn't get his name. Well done, young man, and many thanks!
Long waits upto 1.5 hours for any service. I took the ticket and waited and waited finally I had to leave the office after 1.5 hours as I had to pick up my son from the school without the work being done. Secondly the driving instructors/ test takers have a notion in their mind that immigrants r not good enough to drive in Australia. It’s very hard to pass a driving test here. when i try to book another day of test it comes after 1 and half month. It feels terrible
Long waiting times. Not a problem. The server lacked acknowledgment, emphathy, understanding and respect. Older caucasian server started with "what do you want? Did you lose your card?" in a aggressive tonne before a hello. Will never visit again.
My optus scamm so I went in the girl was young and trying her best to help.i was there an hour and half before I really had lost email from optus and police. So after all that I need a jp statement and police statement to get my licence done, totally to much for me. I almost never go here,always takes hours to get no where and usually takes me a couple of days to get done. Scamers have had our numbers for months even all this year so I can't be bothered urgently cause they just haven't told the truth, the media knew for months before telling us trying to avoid panic.
I have noticed a substantial improvement in the waiting times at this centre, in comparison with previous visits. The people working here are knowledgeable and willing to help. In overall, there is a great customer service from officers and driving examiners.
I visited this branch for something wrong with my vehicle ownership, it was exactly fault from transport but this lady behave like i did wrong always complaining not even try finding a solution, then i just call online help young guy and a girl helped me with in 1 hour, 1 rating for branch, 5 rating for call center. Wasted all day in branch without eat anything.
Staff are always super friendly and helpful, unfortunately the wait times vary greatly been in and out in 20mins but waited more then 2 hours on my last visit
The most amazing people work over here. Even though I was nervous for my driving test they were so helpful and made it so easy for me to get my license successfully.
