Plenty of off road parking here especially for larger vehicles. The room rates were cheaper if you book online. The staff were friendly and helpful and I checked in very late at night. Smoking is still permitted in designated areas and the hotel is old so if you're a nonsmoking guest you will notice the smell while accessing your rooms. No smoking permitted in rooms though. There was some noise from the beer garden but my window was open and it didn't affect my ability to sleep. The beds and linen were clean, fresh and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were available in my room. The bar downstairs is open until 2am for those who would like a drink. I will return here for a good nights sleep when working.

We stayed at the accommodation. Huge barn of a pub with everything you can imagine. The rooms were quiet even though the roads were very busy and noisy and the pub was packed. TV in the room was huge. Staff excellent. Very helpful and friendly. The room was good but ours was missing some trim around one of the doors. Basic breakfast bar in the room to make toast, and a cup of tea

Was pleasantly surprised to find this gem so close to home. The food here is delicious and comes out exceptionally quickly; even with how busy it was. We had a single issue (a simple mistake regarding dessert), but it was remedied before we had a chance to sit back at our table. The staff here are attentive and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice restaurant with great setting and atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and accommodating to cater for our big group of more than 30 people even though we didn't make a booking. Food was also delicious and their light lunch menu is a steal. Would definitely come again when back in the area.

Since they have done the refurbishment it looks and feels amazing. Food has been stepped up also and pricing is very good. Definitely a good place to catch up for a meal or beer!
