Normally good but last Sunday 9 May 2021 bought 2 packs of grapes and when opened both had rot and mould! Not sure how long these were out for? I brought them back and received the refund but teller did ask at the time if I wanted another? I looked at her and asked another pack of rotten mouldy grapes? Then she quickly said she would advise taking them off the shelf. Just because it’s South Auckland doesn’t mean that food quality is compromised come on Countdown - DO BETTER!!
Well stocked, grocery prices too high compared to competitors. Very unhappy about a person harassing me at the entrance wanting money then came into the store to harass me further. Would drive customers away.
The location of the Countdown super market is good, as it located on main road. The parking is plenty and they have all you need for groceries. All the sections are clearly marked and can be easily found. Plenty of options to choose for each products. Fast and quick service at the exit counter so not much of waiting time except during pick hours.
Shop is well laid out & had everything l was looking for. Not as crowded as Takanini or Papakura store, great place for groceries.
Just recently moved to Papakura about 3 months now and been shopping there since, however I feel uncomfortable at the same time because I feel the security is following me around. Felt sick to my stomach every time I walk in and they follow me.
Wow,just wow...loved shopping here.So modern and the huge fridges....nice clean store.Quite popular too with locals...great experience.
Always has friendly staff, almost always have things in stock, clean and tidy.
Excellent Place to shop it however it would be nice to have the a bit more warmth in the shop as the heaters aren't working & its like a chiller as walk the whole store its really cold & a lot of other People find it cold to other than that I would have given 5 but I'm given it 3 & the staff are Excellent
Great service, good prices, best place to go
Only have one checkout open most times, two if lucky while 20 to 30 people queue. Always some crackhead by main doors begging. Standard for NZ shops nowadays
