Glitching key cards that trap you in lifts or lock you out of your room, $30 to park your car some where that looks like you'd be lucky to find it there in the morning, 2 hours before checkout upon returning to our room from a walk housekeeping was in there throwing out our food, thankfully we got back in time before that reached our belongings. For the price I cannot recommend, if it were half the price we paid, maybe a 3.5 star review
Room was AMAZING not old, not run down, clean with amazing views and the bed OMG the bed!! Most comfortable bed I've ever been in. Staff were lovely and welcoming and even let us charge our electric scooters in the lobby and promised to keep them safe with their 24 hour receptionist which they did. We parked on the road which was fine amd convenient for us. We got a free drink from the bar feom receptionist so thank you for that. Only down side was the hot buffet breaky was disappointing with a not so approachable chef overall only let down was breakfast. Thank you so much for having us.
Great stay. Couldn't have been better. Got a free upgrade for our wedding anniversary to harbour view. Great room. Very clean. Bed was so comfortable . Buffet breakfast was perfect. Location in wellington close to cbd, easy to get around.
Loved our stay. Great service, comfy bed, yummy kai, and beautiful harbour views. Location is great - easy stroll into the city while not being right in the thick of things
Really disappointed in the service. When booking on the website via mobile at 10pm at night the night before our trip I had trouble with the website layout. It glitches and as you slide to select room, a carousel also slides across to choose booking option. It slides quickly and you have to quickly tap it before it slides to the next slide. I selected to book for the following day check-in for 1 night for 2 adults 2 children. I was about to pay then realised it still said only 1 adult, even though I had searched for 2 adults 2 children in my original search. I clicked 'edit' which returned me to the main menu with the rooms again, rather than just editing our booking. So I started all over again, for it to do the same thing. Third time trying, I went back further and searched first for our number of people, at this point it had changed the date back to default date of that day. I hadn't realised this and completed my booking. Of course when we showed up the following day for check in with our 2 excited children, the office clerk couldn't find our booking. After a long search, she realised we were showing up as a no show! As if we would book for 2 adults, 2 children at 10pm at night, pay for it, then not show up! No one thought to contact us via phone or email to check. After she spoke to the manager about the error, they said too bad we would have to pay again if we wanted to stay. Needless to say we left. I understand that technically it was my error but I was disappointed in the difficult to navigate website and lack of communication from the motel regarding our booking. We were out of pocket $220 for a room that we didn't even step foot in.
