A really well located hotel we arrived from the South Island and the hotel was just a 15 minute drive from the port. The hotel had valet parking which was a bit expensive but very convenient. The bedroom was comfortable and well equipped. The dining room closed at 9:30 pm but room service provided a nice dinner. The hotel has a small but pleasant swimming pool and gym. Breakfast was provided on level 3 and was satisfactory. The bar service was not very good slow and limited choice.nA good stay ideal for visiting the city
I stayed here last weekend.nnThe service was great - until they put a $20 bond to use a phone charger lol. Its a $7 cable...nnGreat location, fancy bar area.nnIf you can get a room for $200 though.
Another great stay at a QT. Excellent service. Highly recommended the cocktails - the bar is unassuming but we had a great bartender. The room was fine but quite small. Very convenient location. Only complaint were the steep parking prices.
I was SOO excited to stay here, celebrating both mine and my husband's birthday and a night away from baby!nnI've always loved the art here and thought it was one of the most beautiful places I've been, so the anticipation had been building to come stay in one of the King gallery rooms.nnImagine my supreme disappointment walking into the room with what looked like generic motel square prints on the wall, a musty but pungent smell, the curtain netting covered in some miscellaneous...something rather? Finger prints and marks around the room, grubby marks on the door and walls, the window frame peeling and damaged from moisture build up with a build up of some kind of fungus idk, it was gross.nn$310 for that?! After ALL that excitement?! I was SO disappointed. I asked to change rooms and that one was a lot better, but still marks all over the walls and door and the door knob hanging thing was dirty!nnThis place has so much potential with the location and beautiful theme. Whoever manages this place obviously doesn't care about overseeing cleanliness or quality. What an absolute shame.nnGold linings? Staff are brilliant.
Fairly disappointed with the lack of customer service provided by this hotel. My business partner had checked us into the accomodation when we arrived late at night, and failed to cross check bookings. No one had the courtesy to call me, or discuss with me at breakfast when going for the buffet to maybe have a personable conversations. Instead I was left being over charged for a “no show” when I arrived. Out of pocket $400 yet was at the hotel the entire time. It’s not the customers job to cross check information on booking systems and irrespective of policy and procedures common sense does go a long way in business
