In August I applied Australian driver licence and I need to verified my Indonesian driver licence. I called the office and the lady who answered my call was very polite and helpful. I'm living 650 km from Perth. She suggested me to send copy of all documents required (verified by the post office) via registered post. I posted the documents on the 10th August and received email from KJRI on the 14th August then got the original document on the 15th August. Very impressed with professional, effective and efficient job! Thanks :)

Gave a phone call and it went thru the officer in one go. Perth Consulate cant help me to extend my Indonesian Police Clearance (I hope they improve this service in the future). At least, the officer very polite and helpful, even she offered alternative to me. Keep doing well Bu/Pak!

What was the problem with giving me the form 1st? I arrived, took a number to queue, it was 20 numbers apart. Oh dear, I thought. The form I was after, was not available on the website so when a counter was available, i quickly asked the lady (at counter B) for the form. She said get a number and wait. I asked another guy (counter A) who happened to be topping up some forms in the shelves 15 minutes after. He said, yes i would be given when my number was called. About 1 hour later, my number was called, the lady gave me the form and while telling me to complete the form, she called the next person in line (mrs Brown). Wasnt that my whole point an hour ago? To give me the form so that while waiting for 1 hour i could have completed the form. Instead, I waited again to submit the completed form. It got worse. After i completed the form, i waited for mrs Brown to finish her business. Counter A was available at the time, but i wasnt sure if he was serving, so i didnt approach, i waited for the lady instead. He called for the number. Oh darn, i could have. When the lady finished, she again called the next number while still answering mrs Brown's questions. I thought "wait, i am giving you this". While the lady was attending me, the next person stood next to me, waiting for me. I wonder if she knew i had been waiting, i didnt cut line. Dont get me wrong. The lady and the guy were both polite, but they could have given me the form. I wouldnt have asked if it was available on the website! Please improve more.

My experience is 100% different to some of the other posts , I have phoned and on both occasions it was answered and I went in at 9:30am and was second in line and was out within 1hr , went in to pick up visa 5 days later and again in / out with in 1hr . On the two visits I made , the people were polite and efficient, after reading some of the posts I allowed a day and took in snacks and just thought it was going to be like Bali time , didn't have time to open the snacks and my coffee was still warm when I left . One very happy Chappy NOW !!

I am Indonesian and i am not stereotyping, but dealing with Indonesian official not matter where reminds me of home country. Too bad that we can't even pretend to happy or smile. Rudeness still part of front desk culture. 'You need me so i can do whatever i want'. That's what written on their face. I am giving 2 stars because i met a polite and nice guy who helped me there. other wise will be one. The rest of my experiences especially dealing with the young lady many times, make me feel embarrassed as Indonesian.
