Recently moved household goods (2 bedroom apartment) from SYD to AKL. Sales process was quick and easy and they consistently followed up to win the business. Their pricing was not cheapest (out of 10 quotes it was 4th cheapest), but the value of door to door service combined with their thorough and transparent customer service (pre and post sale) was what won me over. The best part about the service were the two guys who packed everything up and took it away, and the two guys who dropped everything off in AKL - friendly, no fuss guys really went above and beyond. 

Seeing a theme of bad review complaints re damage/no insurance. I took a gamble and didn’t opt for insurance, and I was lucky that everything arrived undamaged in one piece - even my 65inch smart tv which arrived in the box upside down turned out to be fine. Although the insurance wasn’t much additional IMO, I took into account the value of my goods, cost to replace, and the weather - cargo damage sometimes comes down to weather at sea/vessel movement, regardless of how well goods are packed and lashed inside a container (I work in shipping).

If you’re moving something valuable/sentimental and/or your goods are travelling a long distance - get the insurance and read the fine print. You’ll only have yourself to blame if something does go wrong. 

Conroy Removals were excellent from end to end and I highly recommend their service.

Mother sent a mint condition sports vehicle from nz to Australia. It left perfect and arrived with left side scratched up, wing mirror hanging down and damaged door window- which now hasn't to be taped up with plastic till replaced and claim they don't know how it happened (not our problem). Collection failed to give her 80+ Yrold mother that had car stored and unmoved in perfect condition the papers for 'condition'. And excuse photos that were taken when company collected. Don't use this company, they are disgusting and will be challenged and paying for this damage. Conroy should be ashamed of themselves

Terrible communication. No one in despatch answers their phone. Tried 5 times over 6 hours. . Left message and still no reply. Would not recommend. Heard them on Radio/ they would be better putting $$ into improving their communication .

We were really impressed with Conroy. They packed up the truck the evening before, the guys met us at the new property the following day. Everything was packed and unloaded with great care and nothing was damaged. The guys even put together a bed for us!
