I am based in around the South Coast UK in Brighton and specialise in surgery of hernias, gallbladder/gallstones and general laparoscopic key hole surgery. I can help you with any advice or info. Please see patient feedback!I also specialise in weight loss surgery leading a team of Bariatric specialists @BrightonBariatrics. The procedures that we offer include non surgical gastric balloon and laparoscopic key hole sleeve gastrectomy. If you already have gastric band inserted elsewhere and are having issues eg weight gain, pain, vomiting etc than we can help you check that it hasn’t slipped to reassure you and restart your weight loss journey or remove it if it has."

Mr Khera has been known to me for several years through my work in the surgical arena. His skills and knowledge of weight loss issues are exemplary, he has performed many procedures over the years with high levels of patient satisfaction. It is in particular his warm, patient focused approach and easy manner that I feel will provide potential patients the confidence to work with him on the solution that is right for them.
I saw Mr Khera for a suspected blocked gallbladder as I was suffering from jaundice at the time.He thought that my bile duct was most probably blocked with gallstones and an MRI would confirm this which it did,but this was a very stressful time for myself and family waiting for the results, but Mr Khera was very reassuring and would answer any of my numerous questions!!When the results came through I gave Mr Khera a big hug as I was so relieved it wasn't anything more serious. A few months later I had a double inguinal hernia operation due to too much lifting weights at the gym!!Another successful operation and I must say on both ops which were keyhole the scars are hardly visible and healed very quickly. Mr Khera or Goldie as I call him now was very professional but he also felt like a friend and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
Mr Khera is a fantastic surgeon. Excellent and knowledgeable. Listens to his patients, extremely helpful answering questions. I felt very confident and safe in the hands of him - and his whole team. I feel like he has given me a second chance at the life I want to lead. I am so very grateful.
I am Mr Khera's private secretary and he is not only a pleasure to work with but he really cares for his patients before, during and after their surgery. He is a first class surgeon and all of his patients have been very happy with their weight loss success.
World class team based in South Coast UK Brighton comprising dedicated health care professionals, nurses, dietician, psychologist, radiologist, Anaesthestist and led by me as the team surgeon! Honoured to work with them all and thank you for your hard work during this Covid pandemic with our past and future patients. We have juggled having inadequate PPE and scarce access to operating lists as well as the almost overwhelming mental stress of Covid affecting patients, friends, family and colleagues. Thank you for your patience whilst we reassess our waiting list. Hoping for a better 2021 when we can be vaccinated and overcome this pandemic. Stay safe and be kind.
Dr Khera is a great doctor he fully explains what he is going to do and every question I had about my op was answered fully and he filled me with reassurance amd the follow up after the op was first class the best I have ever had I would recommend him 100% hi took out my gall bladder amd managed to fix my hernia at the same time which saved me an op as well amd it’s all healed perfectly thank you.
