Terrible communication. No one ever answers the phone Helen is so rude and condescending Whole process either getting passed around with no real reason or being lead to believe you have a job. Do the interviews, get National police clearance, get asked what your preference is and being denied a job after countless phone calls and emails. I would give it 0 stars if I had the option
Dealt with Sam F. during the hiring process. He was extremely polite and professional. He always followed up his phone calls with an email and never left me waiting for answers. Give this man a raise!
I really appreciate Lan ‘s training,he is soooo smart and experienced,Very patient and kind. Caring about everyone ,Got more of confidence to the company because of him.And thanks for Paige’s effective recruiting process.
Had a job offer, proceeded with all job requirements, medical tests, GP appointment, police check clearance, a lot more than you do for any other job you would apply for, may i also add spending a lot of $ on appointments for their requirement standards. Only to get to the last step of the process for the job before starting to be told i was unsuccessful with no reason why when asked what happened, they have no decency to respond to my email. What a waste of time, unprofessional manner to do so, why call someone and say congratulations then all of a sudden tell them they were unsuccessful? Wouldn’t recommend even looking at their job ads if this is how they deal with potential employees. They will get your hopes up only to let you down after wasting so much time on them, waiting for emails back and phone calls. After seeing other reviews it makes a lot more sense now. Quite glad i got out of this one, shame i just had to waste a whole month and $ on this company.
Have not worked for Compass but alike some other reviewers my experience as candidate was not great. It was delayed and misleading. To be fair I did get a job offer but I declined. It didn’t match the job description I applied for and wasn’t appealing, unfortunately the recruiting team member gentleman on the other end of email felt more like a salesman trying to wrangle a cheap deal out of me.

Worked in this office for 6 weeks and it had to be the most toxic environment I have ever encountered. Poor leadership and staff treated candidates like second class citizens. Recruitment Manager was constantly disrespecting employees behind their backs. Stay away from this organisation.
What is wrong with this company? They never pick up the call, never respond to the email and hold my application for 4 months and I can’t even withdraw it. When my call finally get through they said they couldn’t take me but yet they’re still keeping my name in the system.
Unprofessional & a waste of time - offered a contract. On the date I was to commence work I was told contract had changed or I’d have no job. No one answers their phones, handballs questions. Would not recommend anyone wasting their time trying to gain employment with Compass.
