On august Ist 2022 we had a major 90,000k service done at Mitsubishi Melville motors on our 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero and were shocked at the resulting invoice cost of $2573.35 thinking these were the current charges in WA.  we are visiting from Victoria After consulting with various other Mitsubishi dealers we were told that an average cost for a this major service would be between $1200 and $1600 we did have belts replaced at an extra cost of $500.00 . We had no other problems with the car . We dropped our car off after 9am and picked it up at 4.00pm . It was stated on the invoice that we dropped the car off at 7.30 am and I understand that a major service should take around 6 hours  Mitsubishi Melvilles rate was $180.00 per hour . Our regular Mitsubishi dealer in Victoria charges us $145.00 per h   Our fault is that we are very trust worthy people and trusted Mitsubishi Melville to be charging us the current WA rates . But after discussing the invoice with local dealers and also customers of Mitsubishi that the costs were unduly higher than normal . I have spoken to the service manager at Mitsubishi Melville without any satisfaction . Our car is running well our only issue is the higher than normal costs incurred
