I've come to @Como twice now for special occasions and enjoyed their set menu for the night. The Valentines Day set menu had seven items, all of which were exquisite; beautifully presented, delicious, and great serving size. The owner of the restaurant is an affable guy who's always happy to have a chat, and the service staff is attentive and very friendly. The setting is gorgeous, and something my girlfriend and I noticed last night: the entire restaurant was set up so that couple's were angled towards each other, and the river - not catching the eye of anyone else. The only complaint I had was that there was a small delay in bringing out the last couple of items on the menu, but that just turned into an excuse to enjoy the evening even more. Nice river view, good service, unfortunately food quality was patchy. Thoughts had been put into the menu and the dishes were well presented to give a wow first impression. The octopus were dry and rubbery but on a bed of really nicely cooked chorizo and potato ($28). The three thick pieces of pork belly ($24) was beautiful with crispy skin, on a green sauce that didn't really called for; the smoked duck ($24) was four large mouthful of solid cucumber with some stale tasting meat on top - it was the greatest disappointment of the evening. A few other smaller dishes were fine. The staff were warm and friendly. The river view was gorgeous.

We love it here, do yourself a favor and enjoy a wine and food combination that will get your taste buds flowing. Wonderful ambience sitting by the water!

Dined here for the second time last night and remembered why I’ve been wanting to come back for so long. The view was lovely, ambience quiet and relaxing (great modern selection of music playing) and the food was absolutely delicious - couldn’t fault a thing. The owners are super friendly and very welcoming and willing to accommodate dietary requirements. Sadly I couldn’t indulge in the fabulous wine list as I’m pregnant but they made me a delicious mocktail to compensate. Highly recommend the arancini balls and the baked Camembert. Interesting to see other reviews say this place is over priced - we felt it was great value for the quality compared to similar places closer to the CBD and dishes are really filling.
