Waited over 10 minutes to be sorted by the person stopping people from entering. Only to be told I can go to the tellers with no queue. Absolutely frustrating to be stopped from continuing to enter the branch. When you know where to go.
So the Comm Bank branch is no different cerebral to any other branch. Everyone wants to get you to use the machines.nnNow to judge the character of a bank you need to interact with the humans as all machines are programmed to act / react the same.nnThe staff here are quiet efficient and do their business. They don’t necessarily think outside the box.
I took some coins in to deposit on Monday. The deposit machine broke down 3 times in 12 minutes. The young guy was really helpful but he had to leave another customer to attend to my machine. It is so frustrating . Finally a older woman that works there came over & assisted me after she heard me say I can't believe the staff here because they come out of their room , see you need help & walk away & ignore you. To top my frustrations off I took the rest of my coins to Sandgate Commonwealth bank only to be told their machine has been not working for 3 days. Please service your equipment so your customers don't have to drive all over Brisbane for a working machine. Finally a staff member at Stafford Commonwealth bank personally inserted my coins for me with a smile & served me immediately. Guess It was 3rd time lucky.
Kay was absolutely fantastic! Open and honest, providing excellent communication during our loan application process and keeping us updated! Would definitely deal with her again!
Worst experience ever!!! Elderly or disabled be warned !nBrought my very very elderly grandfather in to sort out closing his accounts because he’s making preparations to ease things for my grandmother when he goes. Helen assisted in making it one of the worst experiences we have had. She made no effort to accommodate his lack of hearing, his shortness of time on this earth or his irritation at the whole drama of just trying to close his account - she was not clear in her questions and made my father and I, who were there to assist him, feel like she thought we were stealing his money. He’s over 90 and in a wheelchair, not sure how else he could get himself there - and only reason he spent his precious time in this miserable branch is because the bank wouldn’t do it over the phone. Don’t bother with Helen - worst costumer service ever. Barry seemed a lot more friendly. Helen also kept making remarks about both my father and I being there with my grandad and how crowded she felt due to covid… maybe she should consider a mask or another job if it makes her uncomfortable. Pretty sure my grandad is at more risk than she is.
