Today I left the Commonwealth bank feeling dehumanised, after simply wanting to withdraw money from my own account The male manager I was dealing with changed the initial amount he said he would give me, to a much smaller amount after he threatened to have me removed from the bank and not allow me to withdraw any of my own money, after I told him my situation and why I desperately required my money I was requesting, but he did not have any empathy for my situation whatsoever, I felt his manner was aggressive and he left me in tears to the bank teller that was left to assist me The male manager treated me as though I was beneath him and didn't deserve to be treated with any respect He didn't even request that we speak privately, I was standing at the counter for all to hear what was being spoken This occurred several hours ago, bit I am still in disbelief at how poorly i was treated I have been a loyal customer to the commonwealth bank for many years, as well as having all.our insurance pollicies with them, but considering what occurred today, that may not be the case for much longer!
The queue stretches out the door, one teller working and lots of excess staff walking around pretending to be busy. How about some service
Popped in 2 deposit a cheque ended up also solving phone banking issues. Teller and Lady working the floor were very good.
One of the most racist staff I have ever seen can be found there , In the teller . I went down to get some cash out . I had my id , my every thing , and it was from my own account , But the racist lady in the teller was not convinced and wouldnt let me take out cash.I felt that i was the victim of racism. I can’t remember the name of that lady in the teller but the manager of that bank knows who was that , and what happend . And never ever visiting that branch again.
I called 3 times over successive days and left a message for the bank to return my call as I has an urgent issue to be addressed. Still have not had my call returned.
Dreadful bank, been in multiple times to question why my home homeloan hasn't been closed even tho it was payed out 6 weeks ago. Condescending staff who are not helpful and can offer no advice or resolution other than shrugging their shoulders saying I don't know what do you want me to do.
Totally terrible service, been waiting for ages, and when u ask them how long would they be, they said sorry they are on the phone right now, all you need to do is to wait. Come on your leading Australian banking service, thats how you treat your customer who has been 10 years with you. The store manager is only coming to say: sorry we are not able to serve you today. Terrible experiences, not once, but multiple times. Most recent being 20 minutes ago when I was told the wait shouldn't be long and to take a seat. After waiting 20 minutes and being told to come and sit next to the staff members office as I would be going in next, the staff member goes and gets another person who arrived after I did, without an appointment and takes them in. Meanwhile the 'usher' saw this happen, and instead of intervening and explaining to the other staff member that I was in fact next in line, he just continued on doing whatever it is he does. I then approached him, advised that I was next in line and the staff member had taken in another person to which his response was I did see that, it was miscommunication. I then left. Now what makes it even worse is that the staff member Anna who chose not to take me in was meant to phone me back 6 weeks after our last appointment, that was 6 months ago almost and still no phone call. I have phoned and left a complaint but the branch in general in run very inefficiently.
Very professional and quick to solve my problem, although the wait is a bit long but understandable.
Tried a million times to get opening days and hours via Ceba automated helper but these easy questions were too difficult to answer. Wasted my time 27/12/21
