This is a honest review. The room was nice enough for the price. It had tea, coffee and soaps and the towels were all refreshed daily. Everything was clean enough the restaurant was lovely and the food was amazing. Staff were lovely when contacted. The bad side traffic is loud from main road but what was even louder on Saturday and Sunday night were the other people staying here. One room had music up so loud and I eventually I knocked on the door to find a room full of young people drinking and partying. People were constantly in and out and slamming doors all hours of the night running on the upstairs walkway then below us another room full of people that were so loud was extremely hard to sleep and we had to get up super early for a massive day driving home. The people kept waking up my baby and child. No way to contact staff after 9pm. For this reason I wouldn’t stay here again. Kinda felt like local young people stay here to drink away from their parents. And no one monitoring it. Also no toaster or microwave for a baby. But after we called them they did bring us a microwave from another room. But this might not always be a option.
Food was delicious. Ordered room service one night and it was delivered quickly and was nice and hot.nReception staff were lovely. Main building looks very nice.nStayed for 3 nights and the linen was not changed once. A drink was spilled in the bed and the same sheet with the marks from the spilt drink stayed on the bed for all 3 nights. Bed was lumpy and not the most comfortable.nDefinitely could do with an upgrade to rooms to make them a little nicer. Housekeeping needs improving as rooms not cleaned with much care.
Stayed here one night the lady that checked us in at reception was fantastic she had a good chat with us and the cleaner on shift that night went over and beyond with assisting myself and child after she was not feeling well, she grabbed us a bucket and spare towels so a huge shout out to her i can't remember her name but thankyou again. We stayed in the PS suite it was clean and comfy id definitely stay again.
This is a review for just the restaurant, as we were not guests in the accomodation. Service was slow, and we had multiple errors from the kitchen. Several times we had to remind waiters/waitresses of orders, as they wouldn’t follow things up with the kitchen. The staff were all friendly, but they seemed disorganised. I also noticed the table next to us was served the wrong food also.nnAs far as the food is concerned it was very ordinary. The steak was ok, and its accompaniments were pretty dismal. The salad looked somewhat similar to my food scrap bin at home, with no dressing at all.nnMy partner had the burger which was very bland. Completely unseasoned and no flavour at all. All in all, not somewhere I’d come back to unless they had a major shake up, and lifted their standards.
This is an excellent motel, with clean, well maintained and spacious rooms. Great service! Really good value for money, I would happily stay here again.
