Just thought I would update, I stand by this review the food here is hands down better than almost every other cafe I have been to in hamiliton.  Always friendly staff and very clean! This is the best one of this chain in Hamilton.  Always friendly and the food and coffee are always good.  Pleasant environment , way better than the ones at mitre 10.  Just saying.

Slack service - the waitress on duty 4th of Jan  12 ~ 2.30pm  rejected my request of topping up my tea with hot water. I was told they will be closing soon at 2.30 pm. There was still 20 minutes left when I asked. I particularly chose this cafe to meet a friend due to their closing time being 3pm on their google hours.  Additionally I had to follow up my meal order after 40 minutes wait. Waiting is not an issue if we were treated friendly with an explanation.  In general, the waitress at the front today is short & grumpy & impatient with attitude. Very bad publicity for this cafe & very disappointing experience. Won’t go back again as I believe the service plays a major role in cafeteria culture.

Pancakes were delish. Guys were very helpful with dietry needs. Teapot didnt spill, real sugar sachets. Superb coffee with Almond milk. Clean premises great service.Food: 5/5

Awesome place. The eggs benedict was fresh and very delicious. The coffee was very tasty and the place was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and had big smiles on there faces.

I initially tried this café coz it is close to my college on Victoria Street. Since then I am a regular for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Just love their eggs benedict with bacon, fried eggs with ciabatta, local favourites, coffees and hot chocolate. During winters their Ginger-Lemon-Honey warmer tastes wicked . For summers their frappes are pretty good.  Service has always been quite consistent. Staff are friendly and polite with pleasant smiles. They provide useful suggestions when new dishes are added to the menu. Wait times for orders are minimal.  A must visit for the great food, wonderful service and pleasant ambience in the heart of Hamilton!!!
