When you buy the overpriced pre-packaged food, apparently it's too difficult to serve this food on an actual plate. If I wanted my food to go, I would expect it in a bag, but not to dine in.

Fast service, great food and the staff were very friendly.

We were first served by a very friendly, polite young man at the hot box but were then directed to the main cashier (a redhead lady) who was abrupt to the point of rudeness. We watched as she turned off one older man who left without food, then another young woman who was scared off by her demeanor. Our turn and she whisked our food away to change two pies in two single serve trays into two pies in a double stacked double tray (no idea why). Then, instead of finalising our transaction, she walked away from the register to serve another customer. We could have quite easily walked away without paying because she was not paying attention. We pointed that out to her and she did nothing by benignly smile. On top of that, the food was stale. Our recommendation is to replace the lady with the young man. He was much more personable and seemed to understand what is required for good customer service.

The staff were happy and friendly, the food was delicious. The coffee was a little bitter compared to some cafes but I like it like that. I especially love the one girl who served us our food then skipped away, it's nice to see that she enjoys her job even if it was late-ish in the afternoon. Price is a little above average but that's kind of expected since it's part of the museum. Ps. Cafe girl, you should totally grab coffee with me some time 😂
