About

The Cat Cuddle Cafe in Red Hill, Brisbane is a pawsome space to get your kitty fix and meet adoptable rescues. Bookings essential.

Story

Cats are our passion and rescue is our mission.
We wanted to create the perfect environment for cat lovers to enjoy and interact with cats.
To fulfill our mission of rescuing a ridiculous amount of cats, our cats will be highly trained to make you fall in love with them, ultimately leading to more adoptions. Seriously, they will be working it.
All of our kitties will be rescue cats. Unlike other cat café’s around the world, our cats will be up for adoption. Our adoption process though, is very stringent. Don’t think you are just going to walk out with one of our cuddle stars without being given the Spanish Inquisition. We need to know that you have considered adding a fur baby or two to your family very seriously. This commitment is for the life of the cat and could be more than 20 years.

The cats are really well looked after, probably some of the best looked after cats and I've been to cat cafes in Japan, USA, Austria, Italy, France, new Zealand, Thailand etc. It's a pity they are going to close soon, please come and support them. Great experience, very clean and when the cats are awake they are very gentle.
Such a great idea, interact with the beautiful cats looking for homes, plus a good coffee and delicious cake as an option. Fantastic place!
Easy to book online for cat visit. The time period was perfect of 50 minutes. I patted so many cats who all had unique personalities. So precious. The cats were all adorable, most were sleeping. This was a great activity and experience. Lots of funky items in the small thift store. Staff were very friendly.
Super cute place; coffee is lovely, staff are friendly and kitties are sweet. Place is mostly run as a charity to assist rehoming kitties in need which is a massive bonus! The op shop has cool stuff and the shop filled with cat related stuff is irresistible!
This cafe is a feline sanctuary. The cats are well looked after. Staff and volunteers are very fond of the cats. Most of the cats are happy just snoozing in their aircon shelters or looking out the window. Each cat cuddle session is one hour long, which is not long enough to actually bond with the cats. Subsequent visits may be required before the cats may feel more comfortable around you. In addition to cats, this cafe also offers cakes, hot beverages, clothing, pet toys, books, and even pristine-condition tea sets pictured. Staff were very friendly and service is impeccable. I would highly recommend this place for those who want a nice place to relax for coffee or those who want to keep in touch with their feline spirit.
Its a great thing these guys are doing to be a fostering place while the cats wait for their forever home. If you're thinking of owning a cat this is definitely somewhere worth checking out as the cats are available for re-homing and is a much better choice than going to a breeder. Super friendly staff, and a cute little op shop up top to help support the animals too
Coffee Food Value Service Ambiance Parking This place was highly recommended by a friend of mine who owns a cat. I don't have one myself so decided to give this place a go. It was sure an experience. The cafe itself has a good selection of food they serve and I remember my mocha to taste really good. The waffles with fruits was great as well and we were able to eat it inside the cat area unable to feed the cats which is undefstandable. The thrift shop isn't as big but there's a few selection of wares as well Was able to purchase a really good couch pillow for $5. My expectations were cats going to cuddle with me but it didn't happen. Haha. I was able to play with some of them but most of them choose to stay away. All in all, it's not too bad of an experience as the profits go in helping the cat shelter. Only nit-picking but the parking spots are quite limited so when it gets busy, it's hard to find one. Definitely would recommend this to anyone whose looking for something to do out of the ordinary.
Came here a few weeks ago before it got temporarily closed. The cats are so cute and friendly and all are up for adoption. Their food is delicious and they have many vegan and vegetarian options. It is also relatively inexpensive to see the cats and the room the cats are kept in is amazing. I would recommend coming here to anyone and I'm planning to go again after the current COVID-19 situation.
Oh my goodness I fell in love with all the cats! Great cafe. They really care abiut the cats. Yummy food and drinks. Would go back every day if I could!! 419 cats adopted. Amazing
Fantastic place to go for a little while and love some kitties. The cats were all very friendly and there was plenty of them around to share the love. The staff and volunteers were so accommodating and helped answer any questions we had. Bonus was the kitty gift shop upstairs that had pretty much anything you could ever want with a cat on it. Will definitely be coming back
