A large Coles supermarket inside the Cairns Central shopping precinct. Shelves were well stocked & tidy when I visited. Fresh produce was plentiful & looked appealing. Good bakery selection well stocked with fresh breads & pastries. Staff didn't seem too friendly, no greeting or farewell.
We managed to pick up everything that we needed and most items were on special which was a bonus for us.
The entrance to the supermarket is not easy for us to find it; googlemap's direction isn't too useful with the point of entrance to the building and multi-layer building structure. However, once getting there, there are many local or make-in-Australia food options for us to explore.
I am impressed by the bakery staff in Coles, Cairns Central, they bake wonderful bread and if you ask nicely they might even give you a hot loaf, which is a delight to have for breakfast.nnThey are friendly people and always happy to slice bread for you.
This store in cairns central would have to b one of the worst for service ..I normally go there from the other side of town to purchase the fresh orange juice which U dispense from the machine that makes the fresh orange juice.but I been going back there for the last..AND GUESS WHAT 6 MONTHS LATER ORANGE JUICE MACHINE STILL BROKEN!!!!nweeks .the machine on the 4 occasions is still out of order..I asked staff members what is going one one staff members said I hope they never fix it as it's a burden on the store I can't believe the attitude of the staff..I asked them again today why isn't it fixed with a reply saying no idea..this store is very unprofessional..what is wrong with the store manager.get yr act together Coles.
