DO NOT buy any gift cards here. My mum got scammed and lost $1000 2×$500 Coles Group & Myer Gift Card.nI have received cards via registered post and tried to use them months later.nnOne card is faulty and another card has been cancelled according to the register and balance check on website.nI have the gift cards. Not lost or stolen. Both were brand new cards without any scratches. They are the faulty card and the cancelled card.nMy mum didn't keep the receipt and the giftcard customer service told me to contact Coles Westcourt and they said they don't help unless I have the receipt.nI think this is against Australian consumer law.nBasically, innocent people just donate to a scammed card sold by Coles Westcourt.nThey didn't refund $1000.nn3rd scam, If the card is expired, they also grub the balance too! Thank you to your checkout staff who on the 1st of June when asked when the next Coles magazine was due out. As I had previously asked at Coles Port Douglas and been told it would be out on the Wednesday 3 June but I was returning to New Zealand on 2 June only to say it's out now. Another member of checkout went and got me the June copy. So thrilled as I do like your monthly magazine and managed on this trip to get both May and June magazines. Thank you Coles DFO Cairns!
I had to order a platter for a staff lunch. The Deli manager told me I had missed the cut off it was yesterday. I said it’s a week away and it’s chicken and salad that’s all. Her response was you missed the deadline you can’t make an order now. Crap customer service on behalf of your DELI manager. it was chicken and salad!!!
In the fruit and vegetable section is an area where you can scoop your own quantity of raw merchandise, eg dates, figs, Nogouhtyum. So you bag and tag so to speak, with a machine on either side, as there is a wide variety of good stuff.nAny way looking to the closest wall, away from bread section, Machine on right was not working. I had no I dear, so I went to a very tall young lad, and explained what the problem was, he said “that there is a machine on the other side,!to use that and he would go and tell someone “I asked him for his name D——n, he said no name tag. I thanked him. I then went to the 2nd machine, but seemed to be running out of labels. I noticed that tall, young lad had just gone back to his job as though it was not his problem.nSo i went to the service desk and asked to speak to the person who was in charge of the section. I explained to Peter about the machines playing up. Peter located the problem in the 1 st machine, but was not a quick fix, he did the logical thing a contacted Mark to assist. Mark helped by looking at 2nd machine fixing the ghost in the machine, then read out thr number so i could key in.nFinally at thr check out served by a very friendly person and gvety ood at her job, because I explained another problem I had found regarding items and pricing.nFinally security guard, good job, very observant, keeping people safe.
