I just wanted to make a special note and thank you to Rita . I have been assisted by her a couple of times at Cole’s checkout with my baby in tow and she is honestly the definition of customer service . I truly hope management notice how incredible she is with customers, she is the only reason why I would return to Cole’s in Melville. Her gentle and kind service with scanning items while I had baby in tow and a very sore wrist she just read me like a book. Another time she kept boss baby amused while I was checking out a couple of items and helped me pack my bag. Wish we had less machines and more people like Rita there absolutely delightful and an asset to your store .
The lady named Yvonne at the checkout need to learn customer service skills. No greetings , no packing bags and very rude and looks very grumpy.
We were there on 1 october 2024 and had a bizarre experience. There was a staff member monitoring the self checkout. However, he looked utterly bored and inattentive to customer needs. We were trying to get his attention as the conveyor had stopped working, but we got no help. Do better Coles!! You will lose us to Woolies as Woolies does not make its customers feel like feel like criminals by being surveilled, and not assisted.
It's like shopping in a prison. They now have supervision at the self check outs, not to help you, but to watch your every move. It's a very uncomfortable shopping experience, Wollies is much friendlier.
Neat, tidy and staff are friendly with great service. Checkouts are clean and I’ve always had a good experience. The store is huge with a fabulous collection of products. The bakery has a wonderful selection of baked items and the butcher has a beautiful range. Fruit & veggies are good. Deli service is great and set out nicely , the layout of the whole store is actually excellent.
