Last time I bought some apples. Very delicious and sweet apples! Also can find many goods from here. I like shopping at Coles.
Coles is one of the biggest supermarkets in Australia.nnYou will find all the necessary daily items in this store.nnThe store is very wide and spacious.
For a city supermarket, this Coles is very average.nIt is as if they are trying to be a suburban supermarket, offering whole legs of lamb and washing powder in 2kg boxes. Yet no shopping trolley?nLimited choice of ready to eat meals.nThere is no deli, only packaged smallgoods.nBread and pastries section very limited. Again, big loaves of bread, but no single serve portion like other city supermarkets do.nThe variety offered is limited for such a big shop and everything feels so disorganised.nPositive point, it is in a central location so if you need to grab a tin of tuna, or a can of coke, this is a good spot to go to.nThere is also a liquor land next door:
Coles Rundle Mall is now the only Coles in Adelaide CBD after the Chinatown store was removed. I love Coles, and since the upgrade, the store layout is much clearer, making it easier to find what you need. Just like other Coles stores, they offer fruits, vegetables, frozen foods, household items, freshly baked bread, and milk. However, I must mention a few drawbacks: there is no fresh seafood section, and after the renovation, there are only two manned checkout counters. I understand this might be the trend in the future. Despite that, it's still a great place for grocery shopping in the city center.
