Visited Coles Mowbray recently for my grocery shopping and had a good experience. The store was well stocked with a good variety of fresh produce, groceries, bakery items and household essentials. I found most of what I needed easily, and the prices were reasonable with some good specials available.nnThe staff were friendly and helpful, and checkout was straightforward without too much waiting. The location is also very convenient, especially when you need to quickly pick up a few things or do a full grocery shop. Overall, I had a smooth shopping experience at Coles Mowbray and would happily shop here again.
My partner came home with groceries tonight and as I was unpacking them, I looked closely at the mushrooms and saw a little black curly hair... Not only did I get reminded of Phoebe from friends' song about little black curly hairs, but I was quite disgusted, as it's not on the plastic cover, it's not even on the outside of the hard plastic, it's on the inside of the packet that all the mushrooms would have touched, God knows how many more hairs are inside the packet. Severely grossed out...
This is a large Coles, which comes with benefits. They have a bakery, so they bake on premises, large selection of fresh produce which is always good including good ginger, which is often older in other stores and their international section is well stocked, so good for those who like to cook from other cultures. The staging was also friendly. The store fits in well with the local community, which is vibrant and diverse. Really excellent.
Neatly well stocked shelves, shop was clean, good parking, great location, good value and variety of groceries. Didn't interact with staff so can't comment on that.
To be honest I'm absolutely over the fact that I have to do their job by packing my own bags because no one is around to do it and on top of that the self serve checkout light was flashing red and no one around, whilst I stand there for about 5 minutes waiting for a staff member to come and help resolve the problem the lady that comes eventually says sorry mate you should of have came and found someone... are you for real?? It's not my job to search for coles employees to help me. You should have someone there if you're going to have self serve open.. garbage
